    January 13, 2024 at 12:24 am

So many things wrong. If you’re cooking in a pan/skillet… you want to go with an oil with a high smoke point, that pans need to be ripping hot and then you go in with your steak you need to leave for longer than 90 seconds for an even sear. I would’ve gone 2 mins each side

  9. @pranambhavani570

    January 13, 2024 at 12:24 am

That is quite possible one of the worst cooks on a steak I’ve seen

Stead of putting thyme in I like to place a sprig of rose mary then place the steak on top…

    January 13, 2024 at 12:24 am

i think in these steaks, the Millard reaction dint take place that well so arent brown completely and look white as if they have almost been boiled…but anyways…in the end the taste matters which im pretty sure that by basting by that thyme infused butter its gomma be awesome…what you could do to add to that is just a suggestion that adding two crushed cloves of garlic in the butter…and a little bit oil with the butter so thatbthe butter doesent burn…anyways that is a good steak SORTED

    January 13, 2024 at 12:24 am

The poking method is for people who either (a) cook tons of steaks (i.e. are pros) or (b) charlatans [Obviously, your hand firmness varies dramatically between people and how flabby they are, and different cuts of meat will have different firmnesses at the same level of done-ness]. Use an instant read thermometer for a foolproof way of detecting levels of meat done-ness (at least for quick cooking cuts, like steaks).

  48. @cat_deday

    January 13, 2024 at 12:24 am

I'm so used to seeing steak burnt on the outside but pink on the inside that I'm hesitant about this recipe. But that meat really looks delicious and the recipe so easy to follow unlike others that would need oven. Might try this recipe with the hubby.
