Love these challenges. We have a world famous international grocer (it's like the size of 8 walmarts) near me where we do stuff like this but it's not really applicable for normal grocery items that are generally more convenient. Surprised red apron didn't make chilli or some sort of bean soup fusion with peas. Add some cheddar and olives.

We need a Kush vs Ebbers of this.

A like for BOTH videos to be made: Mike vs Barry for mystery tins and Ben cooking with the three remaining from this video. Or, could do a video with Ben and Kush using them.

Tin roulette challenge idea with a twist – start with the 3 tins as usual then halfway through, give each normal an extra tin that they then have to add to the dish by the end of the challenge 😅
@dutcher8243
January 12, 2024 at 9:58 am
they should do a tin mystery with each other, but have a chef have to do one meal with some cans from it. so like ebbers against the boys with the tins.

Chef Ben: If you had done that in purpose 😂. Paraphrased: this oil and burn are all your mistakes. However it would have cost yet another pan to wash up 😂😂😂.
I would love to see 2 things: the same dish with fresh topping of olives and Chef Ben's suggestions. And Chef Ben cook the remaining 3 cans. I am sure it will make for interesting content at the very leading.
My suggestion for these challenges where you try to create dishes from challenges such as random cans (love these videos) and grocery shopping challenges (love these videos) is that there is a part 2 video where the suggestions are used to make the exact same dish or if it was a fail, that a dish that would actually work is made. This is because then I can actually have a real comparison and learn how to combine ingredients correctly by watching both what did not work and what did work.
Great video. Chef Ben might not have cooked, but he was so on point ❤😂. Well done.

I would've blended all 3 and called it tapenade lol

All these Challenges need to end with a Chef showing the best way to use the same ingredients, other wise this is just "finding something to do with some cans" im really learning anything. I can panic and random make corned beef hash burgers.

barrys ingredients were hard but i wouldve went the mexican route- nachos with cumin-spiced kidney beans, turn the soup into a cheese sauce, tomato/red onion/olive salsa on top

I would like them to go back and redo their worst dishes with a time limit. See if they can come up with something better.

Mackerel, apricot and jackfruit sounds like you'd end up with a very nice, Persian fish dish.

Jamie was very lucky with the tins this time! He could just mix everything together for a nice sauce or soup and it would work 🙂

This channel makes me so happy. There is so much misery in the world, but when I watch the boys cook in their studio, for that 20 mins or so, I forget my cares and feel happy . Keep up the amazing work boys. Your community appreciates and loves you so much and you bring so much joy, education and humour into our worlds. 🙏😊

the egg was the only thing that was exactly as jamie wanted it to be.
all the flavour and crispy bits from the other stuff gone into the egg
to give it taste and texture while also still having the runny yolk in it.
And Ebbers does not stop ragging on that of course.

Isn't there an Indian dish where they use kidney beans, green sauce with paneer cheese. Then just make an olive relish to go on top.

Jamie had this so easy. Just fry up some onion, garlic and add all the stuff together; instant chili.

I would have been interested to see Barry turn his ingredients into a (non-traditional) empanada or samosa-type dish. I think it would have made a great filling!

It suites his pretentious nature so well.

Barry: "wouldn't know what to do with jackfruit" Sounds like a challenge and a whole world to explore! Jackfruit is sooo versatile
