‘If you’re short, you have a greater risk of heart problems’ – BBC News
Researchers have discovered that the shorter you are, the greater your risk of heart problems. A study by the University of Leicester looked at nearly 200,000 people, and found sections of DNA that control both height and heart health. However, they said short people should not be unduly worried and tall people should also not be complacent, as everyone needed a healthy lifestyle.

China has vowed to protect its interests after the US announced plans to widen economic sanctions against Iran and its trading partners, which include Beijing.

It has been five years since the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan, as western forces left, imposing their extreme, ultra-conservative interpretation of Islam on millions of people.
Their return to power brought relative peace to the country after two decades of war.
But Afghan women have been erased from public life. Girls are banned from school from the age of 12, and aren’t allowed to go to university.
Public parks are also off limits to women – and they can’t travel abroad without a male companion.

This is a silly report – it has also been proven that excessively tall men have a higher rate of "heart problems" – here is what should have been reported with respect to short people – if you did not reach your maximum height potential due to early life illness, poor nutrition, carcinogenic exposure etc., those problems can and often do follow you through your life – that was the real story.
