5 de Mayo it's the celebration of the battle of Puebla a state in Mexico, obviously the hotels and vacation zones celebrate that cause we know that the Americans think that's the independence day or a great festivity on México, but they just do it cause of that, there's no other reason, most of the Mexicans including me, don't celebrate that day
