I'd like a series of stamps about Rik Mayall.
    Forget the rest of 'em.
    RIP Rik.

Loved that series, a laugh a minute. And it still makes folks laugh today. Rowan Atkinson teaching math, 'If I have two beans, and then I add two more beans, what do I have? Reply, Beans!

I know, I've ordered the first day cover. Great series, great stamps. A time when wet yourself comedy still existed on the BBC. How times have changed. Can you imagine the BBC having a character like Flash today and lines like ' I wouldn't want 500 girls to kill themselves, not when they could be sitting on my face". The world and Britain is so much poorer for it. As dear old Rik said, love really is the answer. RIP. A truly great guy.

All blackadder did was insult comedy which is fine but it's terribly dated and best left in the 80s

If Ed Davey ever gets fed up with being the LibDem leader,he could always play Captain Darling, his spitting image,in the remake.

Rubbish. The best sitcom ever made was Home to Roost with John Thaw and that ginger chap. ITV3 wouldn't be the same without it. Oh, the chuckles. Either that or the one where Inspector Frost falls through the bar. Or the 'I don't believe it' fellow, with the pot plant in his shithouse.

If a new series were to be made today all the main roles would be played by blick people…with the possible exception of Baldrick because he was portrayed as a fool …..
