India overwhelmed by world’s worst Covid crisis – BBC News
International help is being pledged for India as it battles a ferocious second wave of coronavirus, described by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a storm that has shaken the nation.
Almost 350,000 new infections were recorded in India in the latest 24 hour period – a record number for the fourth day in a row.
As the epidemic continues to grow hospitals are under intolerable pressure – with shortages of beds and critical supplies including oxygen.

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

Indians had clearly forgotten their pathetic history of begging for vaccines, oxygen tanks and donations from the entire world during the covid pandemic. Their situation was so bad that they have got to ask their celebrities to ask for donations world wide and their PM CARE FUNDS set up to receive donations from the entire world. Refer to my playlists for proof🤭 They claimed that they supplied vaccine for "free" but clearly, they have forgotten who saved them first during their plight whereby thousands of Indians perished daily per day during their covid pandemic. UN had reported that 4.7 million Indians perished during the covid pandemic and India is still having a debate with them. A debate. 🤭 Everybody knows that the dominant wirus strain is the Indian delta variant. That is why countries such as Australia and UK and many others banned the entry of Indians into their country. Do some research on it. China was having a country wide lock down and just because it is the first country to report the wirus, does not mean it originated from there. WHO had said nothing of China being the originator of the wirus , yet, the Indians are so quick to point their fingers at China. Why? Probably to hide the fact they are the real super spreaders who took their wirus back to host countries and spread it to the entire world……The Indian diaspora is the largest in the world, with 18 million people from the country living outside their homeland in 2020, the UN has said. Fact check this for yourself. 🤭🤣

My condolences to the families of the 4.7 million |ndian-delta-variant-covid-virus victims as a result of the most negligent and ill-prepared government of the world. The |ndian government's decision to challenge the WHO's findings of 4.7 million |ndian death toll were seen as a desperate damage control effort to stall and delay WHO's publication of their updated report as well as an attempt to coverup the wrong doings and negligence of the |ndian regime.🤭

I still remember every house was having one covid patient even my grandmother died due to this. At one point i was so scared by corona that i don't know what will happen next. Unexpected one's were losing their lives like literally corona period was worst than you think hope this never comes back again

New cases in thousands in Covid19 are springing all over India but RSS/BJP govt. give so much publicity to cover it off by appointing an Adivasi President as if Whole of India celebrates Adivasi’s welfare. This govt from the start 10 years ago showed Religious hatred towards Non Brahmins the Muslims and Christians as out castes, punished killed people of lower castes just for eating BEAF when Modiji govt is the biggest exporter of BEAF etc. India has antoganised all Middle Eastern Oil Rich Muslim countries as well as other Muslim countries as well as all Western countries embracing Christianity etc. Very soon India May become another Srilanka, sad to say.

Oxygen was purposefully limited by governing party in Delhi to create an oxygen crysis to point out the central government and to crucify it for such a failure.
All of this fell flat when Central government asked for oxygen audit, this is when the crysis stopped, later it was found out that the delhi chief ministers relative was selling oxygen in black. Such a shame.
