I was so surprised to recognise the staircase you were walking up before entering the space. Despite calling it a theatre, as the name would imply Shoreditch Town Hall, is built to be a Town Hall and is a listed building. As someone who put on Sweeney Todd in that venue I can confirm its very hard to put anything other than what is already in that building into that building, especially considering the location of the service lift which you need to build ramps and turn down 1.5 flights of stairs. I'm interested to see how this looks once its up and running.
