Was Rishi Sunak right to reappoint Suella Braverman as Home Secretary?

Published

on

‘She is so incapable of getting a grip that she is being accused of ignoring legal advice saying she needs to find hotels for people who are stuck in what is a detention centre essentially.’

Political Commentator, Matt Stadlen says Suella Braverman is ‘totally out of her debt’ as Home Secretary.

She is prevented from doing her job by lefties. If immigrants are living in poor conditions it’s their own fault for pouring over the channel for all the freebies.

  8. @templarknight1189

    January 8, 2024 at 3:14 pm

She wasn’t sacked she resigned. It’s not about security issues, they want her out because, like the majority of the people, she wants to stop illegal immigrants and immigration as a whole. The lefties like Labour want open borders and mass uncontrolled immigration.

I wish they would leave the woman ALONE give her a chance she is actually trying to do something about the invasion and that's what it is a bloody invasion. AND IF LABOUR ARE UPSET THEN SHE'S DOING SOMETHING GOOD, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Suella made a mistake which was not a hanging offence. She is a British Barrister with enthusiasm and drive to sort this out. That is why she was reappointed and I applaud the Prime Minister for that. Unfortunately her Minister for Immigration needs to be watched carefully. He could be very unsupportive.

To take in unlimited numbers of mass migration is to deprive your own citizens.

Britain’s housing emergency is spiralling out of control. Thousands of people & children are now at breaking point. Every four minutes, another household in England becomes homeless. No country’s economy or Infrastructure can survive MASS IMIGRATION. Never in the history of Europe have so many lies been told by so few “MSM Politicians Globalists”

Patel wanted to stop the boats and cut legal immigration too, but Boris didn't back her. About 80% of these people will be allowed to stay under current procedure and laws.
Then people ask why the NHS is struggling and there are not enough flats and houses.

Lol UK is being invaded by illegal trafficking by smugglers.Still parliament is debating about Suella's email and trying to take her out.Britain's future generation is at the risk of high crime rates.I am afraid leaving my children in this lawless country with out border will not be a good option for me.Good luck.👍

John Redwood is talking out of his rear end. the government should stop handing out Tax payer's money & start putting the people that were born in Britain first. build prisons for migrants that break the law, Prisons like the one in the counties they come from, they can come here break the law then get put up in a nice little room, free board & lodgings, what a joke

  30. @johnfisher247

Sunak is an obscenely rich foreigner with IS citizenship. His becoming PM is a sign of how degraded Britain has become. A foreigner whose ill gotten money should be used in his country or origin. Not used to buy power and influence in usurpation of British self rule. Has Britain lost its mind! Wars were fought to prevent this…yet here we are!

  31. @stuartmenziesfarrant

He did it to stop her joining the Reform Party and taking a good number of soon to be unemployed Tory MP's with her, The public are sick and tired of two faced lying politicians, at least she is consistent and in touch with the public's mood towards illegal migration.

Regardless of the argument itself, it would not have hurt Redwood (or "the other guest" viewed from the other side) to address that other guest by his name.
He will certainly have been made aware of the other participant's name before the interview.

  39. @katharinedavis4947

The woke left have done nothing but push for Suella to be sacked whatever she did or didn't do. The guy Matt is typical of the woke left ignoring the wishes of the British people.

  43. @jameshennighan8193

    January 8, 2024 at 3:14 pm

    SUELLA

There is a concerted campaign underway by the Progressive, the Lefties, elements within the Civil Service and the Media, to undermine and de-stabilise Suella.

Sunak needs to make a statement of his unequivocal support for his minister as a matter of urgency.

The cut of Sunak's Jib…..the standing of his government…..and the fate of the Tories at the next General Election…..depends upon this.

He needs to do this in the House of Commons….and not as a press release or some Press Conference statement.

    Nothing else will do…!

Am with Ms Braverman all the way. She is saying what the majority of the electorate think and want about the “immigration” situation. If she is making the likes of Yvette Cooper et al apoplectic on the opposite bench, she must be doing it right. When will we have ideas/ resolutions from the Labour Party, instead of constant whinging?

  45. @Biggles3211

    January 8, 2024 at 3:14 pm

I'm not angry at all. She has the balls to do the job but the ELites dont like that and want to keep the illegal situation going forever. AS for the shortage of nursing staff, who kicked them out of their jobs because they didnt want the jab.

  46. @colleenpitkin2366

    January 8, 2024 at 3:14 pm

If the country is at risk, why didn't the Cons do anything when it was happening, and people were constantly telling the Government how bad the situation was, and that Pritii Patel made a right hash of it pi***d of the French, and blamed them for the influx.. Now this woman because she voted fr Sunak is back in a top job, (the security of our country is in danger, I just hope this Government collapses and we get someone more worthy to run it.
