"Uber drivers and AirBnB hosts, who could see their work dry up…"

I haven't been keeping up with TLDR's coverage, so I'm binging it now. Interesting to watch this at the end of March and see the relative optimism in how they describe the impacts.

This only proves what you said about brexit.
We should immediately re nstate the old parliament, and allow them to reword the Brexit election, and have it count 3 times, and only have one option, so we can say it proves the will of the people, and it was a case of 4 out of 7, and therefore the majority. There will be Absolutely no need for a further democratic action after that, and we will make any discussion against it or discussion against remaining to be illegal, proving we are a free society.
We can get back to the real business of mass immigration rit large, so the radical left will never be voted out again.
This has a been a self consciously neutral message, if you disagree with that, you are probably a racist.

Once you understand that the purpose of large populations within a civilization has been two-fold. The first purpose was as a cheap source of manual labor. The second purpose was as a human shield to protect the leaders from having their civilization invaded and pillaged.

Human's now have machines to do a large percentage of manual labor. Eventually, machines will be doing the work of defending from domestic and foreign threats.
At that point, the middle and lower class become expendable.

One thought. I work with disabled people out in the community. What happens when they get sick or a member of staff. Will the staff turn up? Will the disabled in the community be taken into hospitals while staff are sick. We aren’t medically trained and don’t have the protective equipment or training doctors and nurses do.
I can imagine my team collapsing if either staff or supported people got sick.

I wonder if this virus ( I mean "cake" ) is seasonal just like the SARS virus / cake……..then in about a month or so all will be forgotten and all the stockpiles of hand sanitizer will be useless…for big mark-up resale

But if its persist, or even get worse, then it will most likely screw up with the BREXIT negotiation

I thought that Johnson's strategy on dealing with the Corona virus would be the same as the one he has for dealing with climate change:

Fingers in the ears, eyes shut tight and yelling as loud as possible 'Tralalalalala' – possibly in latin.
