Zwhat the left seems to miss completely is that ultimately these people have paid money to effectively jump the queue! There are many many people stuck in camps that are more deserving! And what happens to them when they get here? Many have ptsd and have no skills. I know as a actually work with them!
To those that say that uk take more …..ffs open your eyes uk is drowning in people!

Detention centres aren't good data either. As a migrant worker less people are being kept in detention centres as there are both cheaper and better methods depending on the migrants.

@Gazz Rogers  No! BREXIT could not have happened without an extreme bending of parliamentary democracy's rules.

It is not a matter of opinion. Your shyster argument of "oh, it's only an opinion" is the biggest cop-out! You can challenge anything on that basis. It is just naive to take such a stance!

All the Brexit idiots can go to hell for all I care. I just want the three-quarters of Brits who did NOT vote for Brexit to be protected from the total disaster the Tories have brought upon this country.

Does anyone know what the legal position would be if the French were to forcibly board or impede a vessel (say) three miles from their shore, which had not been stolen, was heading away from them, was not in distress, did not have contraband or a fugitive from justice on board, and did not pose a threat to navigation? Could TLDR find an answer to this question? There seems to be a general assumption that their navy could just go ahead and do this, but I have a vague idea that it may be in breach of international or maritime Law in some way.

Illegal immigrants are being used as a political tool to justify Brexit. Whereas in reality it will always be a problem where there is mass exodus from war torn countries. To a country deemed relatively safe.

You say they dont know about the different in they systems for what the will get but they know enough not to register until they get where they want to go! And asking them is hardly going to get the answer of we want money. Plus its all the other benefits they get once they are given citizenship.

Illegal immigration is wrong, and makes a mockery of those who come here legally. All EU countries are safe, so why do they want to come to the Uk?

  18. @Strider9655

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

I stopped watching when you got to the part about detention centre numbers dropping…….. First of all most illegals won't be going to detention centres, and secondly those that would have done, are now going to 4 star hotels instead. I can tell by the narrators voice that this person does not live in an area that has to deal with the fallout from all of this.

  19. @kurtwomersley691

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Waiting for Jan 1st when France basically helps the migrants across the channel.

  20. @adarkimpurity

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Do you know how many die making that journey?
Is France so terrible, committing human rights abuses, they have to flee Calais?
Trying to say 'there's not much of them coming, so it's fine!'
Is just morally and politically bankrupt!

  21. @SilverWave64

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

White Brits will be a minority in 2060.
Speaking about this is considered a racist hate crime.

In other words: White Brits are forced to watch and tolerate their own death.

  22. @markm7470

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

A bit biased as nothing was mentioned regarding all the 4 star hotels now being used to house migrants. If the numbers are not increasing then why would these migrants need to be housed in hotels, are we running out of places to detain them?

  23. @mikaham681

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

TLDR has completely missed the point! This video uses Home Office data to refute Nigel Farage's claims that many (who knows how many) illegal migrants are coming by boat to the UK. Farage's point is many are coming and once they land they are simply absorbed into the community, there is no data, they are not counted, there are no statistics. Whether you agree or disagree with allowing illegal migrants to stay is irrelevant. There could be hundreds per day coming, as Farage claims, or not, if you don't intercept them, how would anyone know. At least Farage is attempting to produce some evidence, and its clear people are coming in the manner he says. TLDR's commentary on Home Office statistics is irrelevant.

  24. @SprocketN

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Every summer we get films of people crossing the channel in little boats, never see them, in the winter. Coincidence?
This is a nothing story, Farage needed some airtime and the government appreciated the distraction.

  25. @789uknick

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

This issue is just a smoke screen diverting the attention from the governments failings both with the virus and leaving the EU. Of course they are finding different route into the UK due to the not as many Lorie's etc crossing the channel, been blown up out of all petposion.

  26. @mininigenovesi7333

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Why should the french care of migrants go to a non eu country? Who cares

  27. @adonaiislavieyra6731

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Oh gods no, 1453…. Not constantinople!

  28. @Croz89

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

If we could wave a magic wand that separated genuine refugees from economic migrants, that would solve a lot of problems. As it is getting tough on illegal immigration also makes it harder for genuine refugees to get in, and vice versa.

  29. @Dafmeister1978

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

My only concern about Farage's little "journalism" jaunts into the Channel is that no one's had the basic human decency to shove him overboard.

  30. @chrisstott3508

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Any controversial statistic which the government specifically chooses to not collect, is a train wreck being deliberately disguised.

Get the pineapple and mustard! I Smell triggered gammon sizzling in the comments section. 😋

  32. @paulcarroll6995

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Some of these poor sods are being trafficked against their will to Take part in The thriving modern slave trade by crimnal gangs. I live in an area where this is very, very real, and as long as its not white industrialists from the 17th century profiting from slavery the left couldnt give a toss, because calling out any other ethnicity for having slaves would be racist. We are in the biggest recession in history now is a practial time to discuss the costs of illegal immigration and its effects on the hard hit Areas of Britain, but you and your bias have no time to post a video on the true impact, and you wont focus on individuals who had there industry taken away then any remaning low-status jobs be filled by people being borderline exploited. I can only assume you are from a metropolitan area like London and have no f*cking idea what life is like outside your priveledged safe bubble.

  33. @thewingedhussar4188

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

Lol 😆 an dont expect the EU to care about this now thanks to brexit.
The UKs problem now. Also if from dictators (bad places), good luck getting them sent back. Without the guilt of killing them.

  34. @Peter-iq9yy

    January 7, 2024 at 6:03 pm

So tldr nigel farage was just being a lazy racist
