COVID: What Happens If We Never Discover a Vaccine? – TLDR News

Published

How Contact Tracing Works: https://youtu.be/06FetXzxNhg

We’re all locked inside at the moment because we’re concerned about the spread of the Coronavirus, and it looks like we’re going to have to stay where we are until the situation changes. One way this could happen is through the development of a vaccine. So in this video we’re going to discuss what happens if that doesn’t happen. What if we never find a vaccine? Are we stuck inside forever or does something else happen?

I may have missed an exposure warning on The NHS Covid 19 App, do the exposure warnings get deleted every 2 weeks or are some permanently displayed?

People get it, and recover through 14 day quarantine. Why the vaccine then?

  10. @marycleveland540

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

We don't need this vaccine because there is medicine that will cure this disease very quickly only it's being blocked so pharmacists can't dispense it for the virus. Why? Big Pharma…big money…megalomaniac billionaires who just don't have enough or have a notion that the world has too many people and a whole lot should go away-permanently. That's why. Do not take this poison.

  20. @NLTops

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

Actual answer: Bunch of people will die but humanity will be fine. Our species have been fighting viruses for 300.000-500.000 years. And even longer if you consider our ancestry prior to the Homo Sapiens species. Viruses need a living host cell to reproduce. As such, A virus so lethal that it would kill all of us wouldn't survive long enough to do so. A virus that kills all its infected hosts dies. So there is an evolutionary benefit/motivator for virusses to become less lethal, rather than more lethal. Look at Herpes. Once you have it you never get rid of it. But you don't die from it either. Very succesful virus. Covid-19 will spread to everyone, a bunch of old and generally unhealthy people will die and the rest of us will become immune. Because as we've seen, people's immune response is enough to eliminate it and become immune to it (tested on Rhesus Monkeys who are genetically similar to humans).

In fact, this whole "slowing down the spread" is helping the virus. It's giving it more time to mutate into various strains. If we'd let this thing sweep around the world in 2 months we'd be better off than we will be when next winter hits. Now if some of these strains mutate and differentiate from one another enough then a strain might not be recognized by the T-cells created for the strain an individual has already been infected with previously.

  21. @robboid

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

when our president tried to shut down air traffic from china early in the virus he was criticized by the Dems and called a "racist" by Biden, the same people who now say hes not doing enough

Well , coming from a 3rd world country which you can die at any time from crime. I would cary on living my life, if i catch and die is ok. Better than die in a cage.

  26. @pinkvpn

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

It will be found because huge money in it. No point finding a vaccine for HIV as it's not easy to transmit HIV in the first place. Antiretroviral therapy is also more profitable than creating a vaccine. Why would pharma giants eradicate HIV if they could milk HIV patients for their entire lifetime? It's just a dirty business as sad as it sounds!

  27. @JaeyTarg

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

Discover is by accident. Development i intentional. There is a big difference.

  28. @Scarilianvids

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

The world will return to the true normal. Nobody will follow the rules, nobody will enforce the rules – reality will be enough to convince people this is not as deadly as they have claimed. Businesses and governments that attempt to stick to the idiotic rulings will fall and collapse.

  29. @relativity375

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

People should be more concerned about the dystopian flavor this has than the virus itself. IDK what the heck just happened, but people apparently forgot epidemics exist, and among those this one is very timid (mortality wise) if compared to past ones…people die, and you don't get used to it, that's the REAL TLDR news.

  30. @propoppop9866

    January 6, 2024 at 7:19 am

I wouldn't accept it, deaths happen and we just need to accept that at some point plus hospital treatment dosent really help as much
