Why the EU/US Deal Failed – https://youtu.be/2eXoU6vTEKQ

With the UK set to officially leave the EU at the end of the year, many are looking forward to the new deals Britain will be able to strike. Chief amongst them is a deal with the United States. However, some are less keen, concerned about what US rules and standards could do to Britain. In this video, we discuss the deal, why some are worried and how a deal like this could shape the UK and US.

What I think will happen is the pound will lower in value, meaning that UK exports will become more in demand due to increased foreign buying power. This will mean more jobs will be created in the UK. As the UK currently buys more from the EU than the EU buys from the Uk, there will be a lot of pressure put on the EU due to jobs losses once demand goes down for them. Also, the EU fishermen will be upset that they are losing their jobs so that will hit macron hard. Popcorn on standby…

A massive influx of chlorinated chicken …just like the tons of 'Bagged Salads' washed in chlorine to kill bugs, or swimming pools full of chlorine you swim in or the recycled tap water that was once faeces, how about showering in chlorinated water, or the piles of shite refined carbs you people shovel down your gullets! YOU, are a commodity, an experiment to be used and tested upon at the behest of private corporate entities all facilitated by politicians.

It is hard if not imposible to imagine that the conservatives (a business interests promoting group) would be ever capable of protecting the rights of consumers/workers/citizens to such a degree as is currently done by the EU laws! All what these guys are there to protect are the trillions stashed away in the off-shore tax havens by the corporations and the rich. The dirty-untaxed money that keeps the GBP in place as a global currency.

  13. @teinmeizeshi5209

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

UK shouldn't have left EU, unlike US that only cares about money, EU puts safety as higher priority than money.
Edit: UK can enjoy their 3 times increase to medical bills along with insurance companies that don't really cover anything. Why would you leave EU?

  14. @aresivrc1800

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

The reality is, nobody does really need a trade deal with the UK. Not even the EU as it can handle the scratch in the paint that is brexit. Meanwhile the UK is DESPERATE for a deal….. take an educated guess who is in charge.

Take back control? You throwed away any remaining control you had in ignorance and stupidity….. now pay the price. 🙂

  15. @GorgeDawes

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

The biggest mystery to me is why anyone would believe that a deal with the US will do anything to mitigate the much greater losses on trade with the EU. There is no credible analysis anywhere that even comes close to suggesting it will.

Chlorinated chicken is a good idea. The NHS needs a root and branch shake up. It had woke management and the bad management of any UK nationalised industry

The US Anti-precaution concept is basically an entire shift of the burden of proof towards the consumer.
There are some aspects where its hard to get for me how anyone with a brain would approve of such a practice.

  23. @edsiles4297

  25. @normanstewart7130

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

I have to say, I'm much more concerned about a UK-China trade deal. China sees the UK as the soft under-belly of Europe. In addition, China would love to avenge the Opium Wars.

  26. @normanstewart7130

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

Can anyone explain how the NHS could be bought by a US company? I don't get it. Could they also buy the British Army, and maybe the British Government?

  27. @BlueAversion

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

The NHS bit is rather misleading. The danger isn’t that the NHS gets sold off, more that it is opened up for US companies to act as service providers to the NHS – what is often referred to as ‘privatisation by stealth’.

  28. @ronrichardson3103

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

I wouldn't be doing trade deals for inferior chicken.. in fact if I see any American chicken in the shops in the future i will be giving it a wide birth and buying beef or something else.. count your fingers before and after if you shake hands with Trump.

  29. @procrapro

    January 6, 2024 at 6:16 am

If only there was a group of similar-sized countries where the UK belonged and had the right to vote and influence
