Sold off our assets to foreigners.
    How's it going?

Thatcher was a wasteful neoliberal useful idiot.
Sold off 2 million council houses at half price.
Wasted £100 billion of N Sea Oil on mass unemployment benefit.
Rigged the property market with MIRAS, decimated the armed forces. Sold off water and utilities.
    A wrecking ball

After researching this guy (Brook), I've discovered that he speaks about freedom and democracy and the survival of capitalism, yet, here, he failed to mention that he was pro-open borders. So perhaps this guy is no better than doris johnson himself.

This Yaron Brook mentions some very true points, particularly about Johnson who is basically a conservative in name only and governs from the left. However, this Brook is also pro-immigration and anti borders. Think about that and how too much legal and illegal immigration (free movement) cancels out western democracy.

Thatcher sold off or decimated our manufacturing capability, so now we’re just a service industry country, offering ourselves as butler to the world’s oligarchs and thieves. Ayn Rand wrote a few crap books about selfish supermen ruling the world. We know how that ends up.

That was brilliant! Yaron is an engaging guest, he shows capitalism as it is: the political system that protects freedom by limiting government.

Government with no limits on what it can do is slavery for the people. If we have to do whatever the government says we have no rights of our own.

She was not convinced that the EU would keep Germany peaceful either.

"…you think you have anchored Germany to Europe but you have anchored Europe to Germany, in the end my friends, you will find it will not work…" – Margaret Thatcher.

    What "…will not work…"?
She's not saying that trade or economics "…will not work..".

She is saying that, the idea that because Germany is embedded within the EU, that this will keep Germany peaceful "…it will not work…".

"…you have anchored Europe to Germany…" – The goal of Hitler.

She should have shut more mines and relied on cheap foreign fuel and sold all our nuclear facilities to foreigners it's the freemarket thing to do
