I think that being or woman doesn''t matter. If you do what you do what you are supposed to do is the most important thing.

I am a teenage-girl in a mostly-male school, it's no problem most of the time but you sometimes get dumb statements… I actually made a video about it, check it out if you like!

The privileged moaning about how they have to prove themselves as men do through work and effort rather than having it handed to them by a man because they can manipulate him. Men have to work to build the societys that offer all the goods and services women and men want, then these women moan they need more. Women are majority of educated and voters and have all the rights they fought for but still want more. Men are treated as work machines, they suffer through majority of homelessness and poverty and depression and lack right to be emotional as women/mothers tell them to get over it, man/harden up. sissy, jerk. They die earlier after working hard and protecting society in wars and doing the jobs women dont want to get dirty or get injured doing. Women want to be treated as queen bees by the men workers.

Islam and cultures that focus on bogus concepts like 'honor',shame, and submission are the main obstacles preventing women from achieving equality.  These are toxic cultures that need to face mass extinction.  Islam is a gang, a cult, and a blight on human civilization. You can defend moderate Muslims all you want, but at the end of the day, they worship a tyrannical deity mechanism that operates on mind control and the threat of torture. They may not say it out loud, they may claim otherwise, but they will at least acknowledge that Islam means 'submission'. Submission is always a bad idea. Submission leads to fascism.

I agree with Meredith Perry, make the biological difference between men and women as the key to understand everything makes us forget important things that have to be discussed.

Astonishing, irrespective of the country, education, religion, women go through similar struggles across the world. Remaining strong, braving this struggle, not letting labels like bossy/arrogant/rude hold you back is the key to success! And like said in the video, success is the best revenge! So we should move on, despite the filthy labels and fights!

The issue is NOT that big jobs are male dominated, but rather that women are less likely to go for those jobs due to the time and effort demands. This has been PROVEN by a study. It says that women given the chance are more likely to choose what they like and what makes them happy without money being an incentive while men mostly have money as an incentive. This means men are willing to sacrifice more time and effort for more money at whatever the cost.Hence the reason why there are more men in dangerous jobs or working odd hours and in high demanding roles. LESS WOMEN apply for these high income roles. It has nothing to do with sexism. If women were paid less for the exact job by the same company under the same conditions then it would be COMMON SENSE to hire more women. This wage gap nonsense is based on all working mens average compared to all worKing womens average and IN FACT.unmarried women end up earning more than unmarried men for the same job so please STOP with this SEXIST THEORY

Solution no.1. DUMP YOUR RELIGION!!   There is nothing you can do that will more quickly give you the most equality than telling your husband and community to shove their religion right up their arse!

Put your trust in science and reason instead of fairytales and fiction. That is how you get equality.. Islam and those veils are not helping you to get ahead ladies.

I found this video to be very inspiring.  I have lived my life surrounded by people who think the current treatment of women is acceptable and I passionately fight to change the stereotypical view of women.  Girls are actually, on average, more intelligent than men, statistical analysis of attainment information proves it; but we get too bogged down with what is expected of us from society and stop fighting for our dreams.  Well done ladies, you have lifted my confidence no end. xxx

i cant watch all this becuase i am busy but lets not ban words and lets teach all men that women should be able to do wat they like after all men get away with so much so women should be able to do wat they like and not be disrespeted,,,and finally a real femenist movement does not ban omen from anything rember this becuase recently a womens movement i used to give money too resstircted a way a certain type of women makes money in there new country as they are exiled from ukraine and now i understand why they were exiled oh well we all make mistakes specally us men,,all men let women do as they want or lose them forever trust me i learnt that one in 2004

Sure, get the infantry "equal"? How about the fire service? Women don't do the hardest jobs, men don't give birth ether. We can't breastfeed, they can't open a jar. Does a woman expect a man to act in a certain way? So why is it somehow wrong when a woman is expected to also act in a certain way? Women should not be held back by their sex, nor should they be given unfair advantages then? So why do female pornstars receive 20x more per shoot than the male(s)? I know the obvious answers but the fact remains that simple supply – demand should not be allowed to dictate such an unfair imbalance surely? The same is true in most of the traditional trades taken women I'm sure. The PC idiots will have androgynous mannequins next and rule that all shops must sell 50/50 men's and women's clothing etc.!! Crazyness! We're different, accept it. We ALL want equality, our physiology and psychology does not always allow that. Sometimes they go too far in trying to force an unnatural lifestyle upon the public and we all regret it later.

I admire all of these women.. Brave, courageous, and forward thinking . I personally would not survive in a religious bound male indoctrinated civilization!..Everything about those last words,  makes my blood boil, and my heart sick !:(   .  I have , along my journey, been able to discern truth, ( from  the human limited perspective) And religion does not fit into that 'reality'. To have females  classified , (due to religious restrictions), as subugative ,lower class persona, is vile and sick. ! That we should have to 'bow' down and be submissive to Males is nothing but a devise rule , Set about by pompous religous  leaders, Fueling females  with fear, negativity and low self esteem. We are the force of the planet ! Religion is flawed, and boundary ridden.. The feminine energies are all Omnipotent ! Peace in all ways !

Cyber Attack: Ransomware causing chaos globally – BBC News

Published

on

Tens of thousands of organisations have been caught out by a computer virus called WannaCry. The malicious software locks data away and demands a payment of up to $300 (£230) a time before it will restore scrambled files. In the UK, many hospitals fell victim and some health organisations diverted ambulances and cancelled non-essential services as they sought to contain and clean up the infection. Infections in more than 99 nations are being reported by security firms. It appears that the hardest hit are Russia and Spain.

Is this AI’s moment of truth? | BBC News

Published

on

A year ago, artificial intelligence was being sold as something close to science fiction — a technology that could transform society, cure disease, even reshape the global economy.

Today, the tone is changing. The companies leading the revolution are racing to the stock market — chasing billions in investment — while quietly confronting a much harder reality: AI is expensive, unpredictable, and far from profitable.

At the same time, some of the very people building this technology are warning we may be going too fast — even calling for a global pause.
And beyond Silicon Valley, a different story is emerging: growing public anxiety, political backlash, and the rise of what some are calling anti-AI populism.

So is AI entering its most pivotal moment yet — caught between financial pressure, technological risk, and political resistance?

AI Decoded Presenter Christian Fraser is joined by Financial Times AI Editor Madhumita Murgia, Thematic Strategist at Deutsche Bank Research Adrian Cox and Richard Coffin, Host of popular investing podcast ‘ The Plain Bagel’.
