Can you test the Ninja Pizza Oven? More accessible price wise than this for majority of people.

Is it me or those guys are trying to have a show like Linus Tech Tips but for cooking devices ? lol

Damn I think Ebers made all Italians angry with those pizzas😂

It's a great gadget and if money was no issue then I'd definitely have one. However £700 for something you can either make yourself outside for around a tenth of the price which would give you a genuine wood fired flavour if wanted or buy one for outside which would once again give that more authentic flavour or at the very least be far, far cheaper.

Thats gotta be the heaviest counter top oven ever at 700 lbs

  6. @AJBTemplar

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Interesting. But way too expensive for a one trick pony.

So to make the best pizza at home, use a pizza steel (a pizza stone is a worse conductor so you can’t get the leopard spotting), oven on max heat preheating for an hour, when it comes to assembling the pizza, you don’t want to overwork it by rolling it or making it as neat as possible, that leads for a chewy pizza, you also want to aim to keep your dough as wet as possible so try to work in as little extra flour as possible, so wet or oiled hands, to start the assembling the pizza, lightly dip the dough in semolina to get the crust like you would see in any of the pizza delivery chains, then begin to let gravity do the work as you work your way round holding the crust, then straight onto a pizza peel with semolina and be quick putting the toppings on because the longer you leave it, the more likely it will begin to stick to the peel, chuck the pizza onto the pizza steel and should be cooked within a couple minutes, if you haven’t worked the dough to much and let it have a good ferment over night or two in the fridge, you should get some gorgeous bubbles on the crust, a beautiful spotty bottom and cheese beautiful caramelised

  8. @kasgrieve9741

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

To get a cheese pull, you have to use something more blunt like a pizza roller/ slicer, a sharp knife will always cut through the cheese, hint is in the name of cheese pull

5:30 I like the idea of a detachable handle to make it easier to store. I'd love to see them test out different cookware sets w/ detachable handles in the future, i.e.:
    – the Tefal Ingenio Daily Chef 22-piece pan set
    – the Tower 7 Piece cookware set
    – the Berlinger Haus 5Pc frying pan set with grill induction & detachable handle
    – the Carote nonstick cookware set with detachable handle, etc

I'd spend £100 more and get the Ooni Volt For £799 which is a far better machine if I had a larger kitchen I'd be very tempted because the Volt is great for baking bread or pasta bakes etc a friend of mine bought one

  11. @msmurder81

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Ben is always sexy, but putting easily 3 pounds of cheese on that pizza made me ❤ him even more.

  12. @ethancampbell215

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

I question anyone who actually buys this £700 countertop pizza oven for two reasons. One how do you have so much disposable income to afford this single use gadget and two what is the need to buy such a ridiculously expensive product 😂😂 for £700 you could buy so many other things which are more essential like a second hand car or a brand new gaming console which will bring hours of entertainment and you can still have pizza without the oven

  13. @michaelmelling9333

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Why would one spend money on a pizza oven if a regular stove-top oven does the same thing?

You guys have way too much flour on your paddles and your work area.

Great oven hard to clean tho 🤷‍♂️

  16. @Coolek

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

For this price you can get Effeuno, which is like 10 times better for anything pizza-related

  17. @harlyslamm2888

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

what the ROI on that? How many pizza could you buy with £700 before you start saving money from the oven

  18. @genericusername5909

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

£700 pizzas … not counting the purchase, only the laissez faire electricity bill

  19. @bcatbb2896

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

i have the oven and i definitely suggest it for those that make pizza once a week. ive been making home pizza for over 20 years, and the pizza it makes is by far the best compared to the regular oven and grills

  20. @CavemanSynthesizer

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Now that we know how heavy it is, how much does it cost?

Also, "three knobs" is what I thought of the presenters while watching this.

  21. @JudithOpdebeeck

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

"three knobbs" kinda like this video /j

  22. @alexanderson7101

You can actually make nice crispy sweet potato fries at home really easily. Cut em up, and toss them in bowl and toss with a little bit of oil. Then transfer to a bag with corn starch and shake. Grease up a pan using shortening, lard, or butter. Spread em out evenly and then bake like normal.

  23. @fredc3543

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

I'd rather have one of those outdoor wood fired ovens, for that price and results.

  24. @RickyT15

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

When using a conventional oven you should do the base amd tomato first for a couple minutes then add the toppings. Stops the cheese etc over cooking and keeps that white picture colour.

  25. @donettmurphy420

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Would not pay for this….oven works…or take out.

  26. @benlamborn5792

I've really never realized how different American Pizza is to European Pizza what Europeans won't in there pizza is very different

  27. @deanc8458

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

I’m sorry but Barry’s reaction to “three knobs” was the best part of the video

  28. @philoctetes_wordsworth

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

The crust used for deep-dish pizza is different from normal pizza dough. The dough is more biscuity—American biscuits, not British. Like a quick bread. Also, simply making the normal crust thicker, without trying to pull the dough up the sides, we call that a “thick crust” pizza.🤗🤗🤗🥰💋💋💋💋💋🫶🏻🫶🏻🇺🇸🌸

SHIT OVERPRICED OVEN … the Ninja probably does a much better job. Sage !!! Whoever heard of SAGE ??? I thought it were a Flippin' Accounting Software !!!

  30. @Moltak111

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

The way I do pizzas at home is on a pizza tray, cook it then finish up directly on the floor of the oven without the tray, obviously this only works with a gas oven

  31. @garth1967

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Cast iron pan on a gas hob and a blow torch 90 seconds 🙂

  32. @dfjab

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Straight before I even watched it, what a shit machine. For 700,- you should be able to control top and bottom temperature yourself. Tack on the smart bits sure but COMEON

  33. @Shalominati

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

The best home oven pizza advice I’ve been given is bake the pizza with only the sauce until slightly browning on the crust occurs. Pull the pizza, add the toppings & cheese and toss back into the oven. Gives the crust the extra time it needs without nuking the toppings!

  34. @SliceydiceyCookingNicey

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

here in the US, this is sold under the Breville brand ( sister company to sage ) , and it is 1k dollars. its cool, but for the price i could never justify it. between my oven and broiler i can make a great pizza regardless. It just isnt worth it to have such a large kitchen gadget that that is marginally better than another method that costs nothing

  35. @daniwalmsley611

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

I think the short cooking times is really quiet important. You can get very close in the iven but you're doing one at a time and it takes 10 mins. That means if your trying to cook for a whole family or group of friends the time between first pizza and last can be upwards of 30 mins. With this it's 6 mins. Or maybe you want to do a pasta bake with garlic bread.

  36. @OnlyKronix

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

You'd have to be mad to buy it

  37. @SinnerChrono

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Stop hating on deep dish or pan pizzas please. Im from Chicago and all my life ive had people shitting on our food and local methods. Does new york pizza get this kind of hate? No. They are both delicious. So stop hating on a pizza from a region where we do it differently than the rest. And maybe enjoy the good food??

  38. @mikelawl429

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

i agree with your opinions not worth it

  39. @RayMrRobert

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Never ever. I could afford it but my oven s great

  40. @DevilDog706

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

For that price you can just get a professional electric oven like Effeuno…

  43. @PbPomper

    January 5, 2024 at 6:54 am

Sicilian pizza's should be way over 200C. As hot as possible.

Soughdough pizza, and everything else about these recipes, is how I know these guys are British.
