The UK has fallen silent as it remembered those who died in past conflicts on Remembrance Sunday.
The Queen was due to attend the National Service of Remembrance in London, but was forced to pull out after spraining her back.
Prince Charles laid a wreath at the Cenotaph on her behalf, as he has done since 2017.
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Princess Royal also attended.

Hawk Fire wildfire in Nevada expected to rage for another two days, say officials | BBC News
US fire crews have reported progress in their efforts to tackle a large wildfire menacing the city of Reno, Nevada – saying the blaze is about a quarter contained.
The Hawk Fire, which began on Saturday, had spread over 15,000 acres by Monday, firefighters said.
Evacuation orders remain in place for 23,000 people, though other residents have now been allowed to return to their homes. Tens of thousands of other residents have been told to be ready to leave at any moment.
Officials are concerned that gusts of wind could drive the flames towards more homes. Unfavourable weather conditions are forecast for the next two days, meaning the fire could continue to burn during that timeframe.

Imagine skinning a man and turning it into a coronation gown, (horrible). Also the joke of saluting with the wrong hand was not funny the first time, was not funny the second time and no matter how many times you do it it is still not funny. I may be wrong but I don't personally find it funny but maybe you've seen somebody laugh at it. If you have then please let me know.

The pathetic BBC still manage to interweave the ‘Windrush Generation’ into today’s coverage. They ‘rebuilt’ Britain after the war apparently. They also describe seeing young people in uniform; CCF, boys and girls brigades as ‘unnerving’. Dimbleby doing the BBC narrative after Hew Edwards disgrace. The BBC can’t just do the job of broadcasting an event.

BBC show some respect and stop referring to the patriot war heroes as far right. Also your reporter referred to the 2 World Wars, don't forget about other recent wars such as The Falklands, etc., which your reporter failed to mention.

I'm surprised the BBC also known as the Islamic Properganda Network even covered this. How sad this was this year, many didn't come out for free of the racists radicals ruling the streets. The poppy sellers who used to proliferate the streets disappeared this year. The barbarians are not at the gate they are among you.

voted ‘Greatest Briton’ of all time. Below is the real history of Churchill. The history of a white supremacist whose hatred for Indians led to four million starving to death. The man who loathed Irish people so much he conceived different ways to terrorise them. A racist thug who waged war on black people across Africa and in Britain. This is the trial of Winston Churchill, the enemy of all humanity.
