Google has produced a cheap DIY virtual reality headset made solely of cardboard, embedded with two lenses. When a user places a smartphone in the front of the device, the viewer receives an immersive 3D experience comparable in many ways to more expensive hardware like the Oculus Rift.

Tens of thousands of organisations have been caught out by a computer virus called WannaCry. The malicious software locks data away and demands a payment of up to $300 (£230) a time before it will restore scrambled files. In the UK, many hospitals fell victim and some health organisations diverted ambulances and cancelled non-essential services as they sought to contain and clean up the infection. Infections in more than 99 nations are being reported by security firms. It appears that the hardest hit are Russia and Spain.

it's nothing new I remember I bought Glasses about a few years ago that had 3D image in them and i could switch between the pix it's just not like this one But Google seem wants to make it something of their own it's just about time things develop u know ? just saying

cheap DIY virtual reality headset yes indeed, This device was originally called a Stereoscope. The Victorians invented this to view their Photographs three Dimensionally. this device enjoyed several waves of popularity from the 1850s to the 1930s as a home entertainment medium.
