Will the UK Cancel Brexit? – Brexit Explained
With time running out until Brexit some are speculating that the whole thing might be called off. Maybe a second referendum will mean it doesn’t happen. Perhaps a general election will get in the way. Possibly parliament will choose to just cancel the whole thing. We explain how the UK could cancel Brexit and how likely that is to happen in reality.

It seems pretty much a certainty that Andy Burnham will be the next British prime minister. Exactly when it happens depends on a few factors. We outline some of the reasons an early general election is likely.

Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia in 1965; We were then very very poor and today we are the richest nation in Asia. UK has clever people and she can do better; Remember Singapore was a British colony. UK will make progress once she is out of the EU

People keep crying over democracy being broken if a second referendum occurs. Either sacrifice the country, or sacrifice our faith in fairness when we actually know what’ll happen now. Hard choice eh?

I voted to leave and the vote was passed so now I expect to leave all this other bull is just to delay leaving so the government can work a way stay in the EU and if this outcome happens I will loose all belief that I live in a democracy I'll also be the first to stick my middle finger up to the government and the last to contribute any more taxes
@olivergrumitt8033

I agree with the comment that a referendum on a subject as complex as EU membership should never have taken place, at least
Without clear evidence that a big majority of the British population wanted to leave. Although leave won, the majority was small,
And in my view not enough, as the difficulties since the vote have shown. In the end Britain will stay in the EU, but without any
Influence on the other members whatsoever. Britain will be in the worst of both worlds, whatever the advantages of leaving will
Not happen and, at the very least, the advantages of staying in will be lessened to a considerable degree. Politicians on both sides
Of the debate have shown total like incompetence on the issue and the damage done to Britain by their incompetence will be
Immense, whatever happens. I am not sure they could be trusted to run a whelk stall, let alone the country!

Talking about a second referendum – shouldn't we firstly have referendum on whether a second referendum should be organised? And possibly a following referendum if the referendum on whether the 2nd referendum should be organised didn't deliver the right result and so on and so on and so on…

A second referendum is pointless because as with the first,the MP's and political elite will just ignore it again, if it's in favour of Brexit I think the Backstop for a brexit voting public is Mr Nigel Farage's brexit party he'll be voted in with the number of brexit voting members of the public and take us out of Europe within days! and maybe we can close the irish Border up tighter than a Duck's Arse! to stop that gang of thugs formerly known as the IRA;smuggling weapons Drugs or illegal Immigrants into the UK and we can get on with making our way in the w0rld again, without europe we've done okay at it without the EU for the last 1000 years!

Europe should send a bill to the UK just for the time and money they had cost debating about this idiotic brexit. Just leave and let europe alone, you will see what you get.
