Ukraine war: Vladimir Putin vows response after ‘terrorist’ attack on Crimea bridge – BBC News

Published

on

Vladimir Putin has vowed to retaliate following a “terrorist” attack on the bridge linking Crimea to Russia.

Moscow has blamed Ukraine for the incident – which left two people dead – but Kyiv has not officially said it was responsible.

The Kerch bridge was opened in 2018 and enables road and rail travel between Russia and Crimea – Ukrainian territory annexed by Russia in 2014.

In October 2022, the bridge was partially closed following a huge explosion. It was fully reopened in February.

When ŕussia attacks to them it is noble or righteous, but if they were being attacked to them it is terrorism or barbaric. What a logic hahaha 🤣

no peace talks or stop fighting instead more and more effective weapons and F16 jets with hellfire rockets for Ukraine to completely annihilate the invaders. As a result, russia will break up into 30 independent states and putin will end up like ghadaffi, otherwise there will always be aggression from this corrupt rogue state. Russlend is just a shitty gas station with a lot of land.

The Japanese government has a Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary named Seiji Kihara. His wife had previously been interviewed as a material witness in a murder case. However, the female detective in charge of the case was suddenly removed from the case, and the investigation headquarters was disbanded. There were suspicions that his wife may have murdered him, but it was ruled a suicide. The result was so bizarre that some have suggested that Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Seiji Kihara and the Liberal Democratic Party may have exerted pressure on the police. However, the Japanese media has not reported on this issue at all. We hope that the British Broadcasting Corporation will report the dark side of Japan with justice and journalistic spirit.

When the TRUTH about Ukraine and their nazi programs and Hitler Jugend camps comes out – the WHOLE WORLD will HATE them. People will say, wait a minute – NOBODY told us about this. Is that really how Ukrainians are???? I guess many millions of citizens from all over the west will want Ukraine to PAY for all the shit they got. Ukraine is better off if the country is completely obliterated. A corrupt failed nation stuffed with nazis – any takers?

Let me get this straight. Ukrainians attack an illegitimate built bridge to a territory that is invaded and occupied by the Russians and now the Ukrainians become the terrorists for defending their country. Interesting.

    ——

Odesa. Mykolaiv. Russian terrorists continue their attempts to destroy the life of our country.
Unfortunately, there are wounded and dead… My condolences to the families and friends!
But the evil state has no missiles that are more powerful than our will to save lives, support each other and win.
I thank everyone who defends our cities, our people, our sky! I am grateful to all our warriors, rescuers, doctors, local authorities, volunteers… to everyone involved in eliminating the consequences of Russian terror!
I am grateful to the port workers who do their best to preserve our infrastructure! To the builders and repair teams who help people restore normal living conditions!
Together we will make it through this terrible time. And we will withstand the attacks of Russian evil.

Russia must stop interlucutions as the West thinks it is weakness. He already knows about the involvement of England and the United States in the conflict, he knows that they are indebted. Mamda as an answer nuclear missiles for them, mercy because they agonize for not being able to steal more from other countries!

Putin lists conditions for Russia to return to food pact
The West did everything possible to stop the Black Sea Grains Initiative and spared no effort to achieve it, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared. But he stressed that Russia would consider a return to the deal if several key conditions were met.
"We have extended this agreement time and time again. And in extending it, we have shown wonderful moderation, patience and tolerance," the president said.
However, Putin described Western countries' failure to comply with conditions imposed by Russia as an insolent act.

MY OPINION IS THAT BRITAIN HAS ONCE AGAIN ATTACKED THE CRIMEA, SO A MASSIVE THERMONUCLEAR STRIKE SHOULD BE INFLICTED ON BRITAIN, WHICH WOULD LEAD TO THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER BRITISH AGGRESSION AGAINST THE CRIMEA.

Why Meta doubled down after Frances Haugen blew the whistle | Top Comment Podcast

Published

on

As The Social Reckoning hits cinemas, the whistleblower who inspired the movie joins Top Comment to discuss what’s changed since she leaked tens of thousands of internal Facebook documents in 2021.

Considered by many to be the primary catalyst for much of the legislation and litigation currently targeting social media giants, Frances Haugen’s revelations have nonetheless been followed by an apparent acceleration by those same companies in pursuit of maximum engagement.

On this episode, Frances talks about tech accountability in the age of AI, the increasingly punitive measures being taken against others who decide to speak out, and what she really thinks of Mark Zuckerberg. Meta has consistently disputed Frances Haugen’s characterisation of its policy, culture and safety procedures.

Why are graduates so angry about student loans? | BBC News

Published

How can you spend years paying off your student loan and still owe more than you borrowed?

Ten years ago, the first Plan 2 borrowers started repaying their student loans. Since then, graduates who left university with similar debts have found themselves on very different financial paths.

The amount you earn affects how much you repay, how much interest builds up and whether you’ll ever clear your balance. BBC Education Correspondent Hazel Shearing investigates why so many graduates are frustrated with the system and what their student loan really means for their future.

Ex-gang boss Duane “Keffe D” Davis sentenced for orchestrating Tupac Shakur’s murder | BBC News

Published

on

Former gang boss Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for orchestrating the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in a drive-by shooting in 1996.

The key evidence in the case were Davis’ own words, in which he repeatedly and publicly acknowledged being inside the white Cadillac from where the deadly shots were fired.

A jury found him guilty in September of one count of murder with a deadly weapon. Davis has said he will appeal the verdict.

His conviction was the first in a cold case that has intrigued hip-hop fans for nearly 30 years.
