If this open door policy on migration continues, Besides building more Hospitals, We should start building prisons large ones right now!! Already the Bulgarian mafia controls the vice in London!!!! Most people who voted to leave the EU did so for good reason, To take back our control of numbers of migrants coming into our country, A fat lot of good that did😠😡😱

Think it would be interesting to know what the average cost per migrant is taking into account all the extras on top just to understand and be able to compare the benefits received by a UK family struggling to heat/feed or a pensioner frightened to put the heating on.

"Looking for a new life in a safe place" by absconding from law and joining the black market were Albanian cartels lure them to pump narcotics into our community. What a mess this weak, virtue signalling politicians are making omg

The navy have actually made Britain less safe, as they are helping traffic illegal immigration and making it a safer journey for them. I'm sure we all sleep easy at night because we have those big expensive pointless aircraft carriers when we can't even keep our own borders safe from thousands of military aged young men each week.

Also I don't care if they are Albania or Afghans, they are all from France, a safe European country. The only way to stop it is a zero tolerance approach, meaning they must know they'll never be allowed to stay no matter what. We have to drag them out by force, and also turn their boats around or if they won't stop approaching, sink them. That's the only way. They'll stop overnight with that.

Poverty? Since when is that an acceptible excuse for illegally entering another country, claiming asylum or refugee status?

    January 2, 2024 at 5:07 pm

Do away with the lot of them and put 7 million a day towards the people that live here I know its not alot in the big picture but it can make a hell of a difference to a small care home or homeless shelter

  23. @graham7176

    January 2, 2024 at 5:07 pm

Our politicians pay £7 Million a day, of our money, for people who we don't know who they are, don't know anything about their backgrounds and enter this country illegally.
Yet, our politicians don't know if they are going to grant the triple lock payment to pensioners next year, who have paid their Taxes, National Insurance Tax and contributed to society all their working lives.
This is not International Law, it is an International scandal, created by politicians, technocrats and bureaucrats.

This is nothing more than misappropriation of public funds which is unlawful, I was once nearly sacked from the Civil Service for mistakenly claiming £5.25 in substance. Governments don't have any money. It's ours and It's being squandered…

I wish all these British homeless people in the uk would all go and check into a hotel and then refuse to leave, see how the government re-act to funding illegals or even migrants but not there own ,, fkn scandalous

  29. @Da_Big_G

    January 2, 2024 at 5:07 pm

I am likely a lot more right-wing than Darren Grimes, but come on! The large number of young men is sort-of a form of "survivorship bias"! The people with enough physical robustness to be able to deal with the hardships of getting here by irregular routes will overwhelmingly be young men. Basic biology.

But surely Brexit was all about taken back control of our borders, so was someone lying to us, about what Brexit would gain for us, or has this Government lied to us in their Manifesto. Face it, the Elite aren't affected in the slightest by Migration, in fact they welcome them, as they will keep the cost of labour down, we have a government who are relaxing visa rules to recruit labour from India
