Halala: The Men Who Sell Divorce – BBC News
An exclusive investigation by the Asian Network and Victoria Derbyshire Program has found online services charging divorced Muslim women thousands of pounds to take part in sham Islamic marriages. The controversial practice, known as halala, is believed by a small minority of Muslims to be the only way a divorced woman can get back with her husband after a triple talaq – an instant divorce where a man says ‘talaq’ three times to his wife. These marriages can leave women open to financial exploitation, blackmail and even sexual abuse.
In this documentary, Athar Ahmad speaks to the women willing to have sex with a stranger in order to get back with their husband, asks why some are going to such extreme lengths and tracks down the men charging thousands of pounds to carry out sham Islamic marriages.

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

So, the Muslim husband regrets divorcing his wife by saying the triple talaq then wants her back, and if she wants to go back to him, she would have to marry someone else to have sex with first, then divorce him (if he lets her), in order to go back to the original husband. Halalah is the dirtiest act and he who does it is the filthiest person on earth. There is NO REQUIREMENT FOR HALALAH in Islam. A woman divorced by her husband can remarry the same husband WITHOUT marrying another person.
Please read verse 232 Sura Al- Baqarah. "
وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَٰجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَٰضَوْا۟ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِۦ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۗ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ٢٣٢
When you divorce women and they have reached the end of their waiting period, do not let the guardians˺ prevent them from re-marrying their ex-husbands if they come to an honourable agreement. This is enjoined on whoever has faith in Allah and the Last Day. This is purer and more dignifying for you. Allah knows and you do not know."

So if a husband divorces his wife ˹three times˺, then it is not lawful for him to remarry her until after she has married another man and then is divorced. Then it is permissible for them to reunite, as long as they feel they are able to maintain the limits of Allah. These are the limits set by Allah, which He makes clear for people of knowledge.

Rifa`a Al-Qurazi divorced his wife irrevocably (i.e. that divorce was the final). Later on `Abdur- Rahman bin Az-Zubair married her after him. She came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I was Rifa`a's wife and he divorced me thrice, and then I was married to `Abdur-Rahman bin AzZubair, who, by Allah has nothing with him except something like this fringe, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)," showing a fringe she had taken from her covering sheet. Abu Bakr was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) while Khalid Ibn Sa`id bin Al-As was sitting at the gate of the room waiting for admission. Khalid started calling Abu Bakr, "O Abu Bakr! Why don't you reprove this lady from what she is openly saying before Allah's Apostle?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did nothing except smiling, and then said (to the lady), "Perhaps you want to go back to Rifa`a? No, (it is not possible), unless and until you enjoy the sexual relation with him (`Abdur Rahman), and he enjoys the sexual relation with you."

Rifa`a divorced his wife whereupon `AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. `Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating ). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came, `Aisha said, "I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!" When `AbdurRahman heard that his wife had gone to the Prophet, he came with his two sons from another wife. She said, "By Allah! I have done no wrong to him but he is impotent and is as useless to me as this," holding and showing the fringe of her garment, `Abdur-Rahman said, "By Allah, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! She has told a lie! I am very strong and can satisfy her but she is disobedient and wants to go back to Rifa`a." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, to her, "If that is your intention, then know that it is unlawful for you to remarry Rifa`a unless `Abdur-Rahman has had sexual intercourse with you." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) saw two boys with `Abdur- Rahman and asked (him), "Are these your sons?" On that `AbdurRahman said, "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You claim what you claim (i.e.. that he is impotent)? But by Allah, these boys resemble him as a crow resembles a crow,"

I volunteered in domestic abuse shelters, and it was a requirement for the ladies to take STD screening because it was understood that the abuser is always also a serial cheater. no man is verbally mentally emotionally physically, abusive, unless he has another woman on standby. This should be a clue to you very quietly, pack your bags and leave there’s a lot of help out there for you. There are many men that would be happy to let you cry on their shoulder, there are healthier men for you. or be by yourself for a bit until you are uplifted and healed. But for Gods sake don’t stay.
