Omg this is the best episode seeing Barry handle making the sauce 😂 Poor guy

Where these 3 have technically been training with a chef for more than 10 years they should essentially BE classically trained chefs by now but no 😂

This whole dish is basically just fancy fair food 😂

There is a simple method to quick bread crumbs. Take premium bread double toast in a toaster to dark but not burned. Then tear into pieces & toss into blender pulse on highest speed. More blender time smaller bread crumbs & dry herbs garlic or chilies make the crumb even better.

I’ll be honest, I could see how a French chef from the 1800s could see how people from the Caribbean makes tostones with plantains and go “oh I can fry a banana”…😂

9:09 that is an image I didn't know I needed today lmao. Barry just absolutely losing his ever-loving mind just made me so happy!!!

I know this is old but did Barry just put bread crumbs that had raw chicken in it into the sauce

Think a 'blindfolded cheap vs expensive supermarket battle' would help people. So supermarket markets own brand bottom shelf like asda essential vs asda top shelf extra special.
We then get to see if its actually worth getting the top shelf.

it might be holy for the french kitchen but if we rate it as a cookbook with recipies its best of burned

I read that book, in random intervals, usually smoke breaks, for the first two, maybe three years of my career.

My local Chinese takeaway does a chicken maryland, my mum used to get it all the time because she has a pallet that is not very adventurous and always just wanted some fried chicken and chips whenever we got a Chinese. I always got her fried banana fritters cause she didn't like them.

Barry’s meltdown on the sauce is everything😂😂😂

how can chicken be a scallop?

  14. @HMan2828

That dish looks and sounds horrifying…

Rather than a banana, I'd have used a plantain which has a taste rather like a potato and would therefore be a perfect compliment to the sauce, chicken and bacon. However, plantain and polenta is a lot of starch. I might have skipped polenta, mashed the plantain and made a mufungo. I've spelled that incorrectly. Sorry.

    Maryland Vs hunters
Swap BBQ and cheese for banana horseradish and polenta

What I love about this and the Baked Alaska videos is that the boys have forgotten that they have done both of those recipes on the channel before. To be fair they were YEARS ago, but they were done before.

The only bad choice they made here was playing a game so obviously rigged against them, but they still won anyway.

  19. @andy70d35

    January 2, 2024 at 1:30 pm

Barry was correct that sounded a right Ba**ard to figure out the sauce.

this video was uploaded 9 year to the day of their original Maryland video and ive just watched both again in January of 2023 so the original maryland turns ten in less then a month in february

Ebbers took the first episode as an inspiration for him to have more breaks and was like "I think we have a new series coming"

  23. @Sidecutter

OI look at baby Ebbers and Jamie they're adorable lol

    January 2, 2024 at 1:30 pm

the face and the voice crack with Mike's "quickly" at Jamie is what makes him my all time favourite 😂

The collective nervour collapse is hilarious.

    January 2, 2024 at 1:30 pm

Conflating "egg and crumbs" with "egg crumble" is worse than when he mistook "pilaf rice" for "pilau rice"

"wtf is a ferenatious product???". This whole episode is gold
