Hawaii deadly wildfires cause catastrophic damage – BBC News
A top safety researcher at Anthropic has warned AI is advancing so quickly he believes there is a greater than 10% chance it “could kill all humans” within the next decade.
Evan Hubinger said the risk from the models which currently exist was “low” but he was “worried” the technology might develop and improve itself soon to the point where it posed an existential risk to humanity.
Jacob Coxon, an AI researcher who has just quit Anthropic and previously worked at OpenAI, has also said “neither company is acting responsibly”.

AI-powered smart glasses are rapidly moving from science fiction into everyday life.
Meta has already sold millions of pairs, with supporters claiming they could become the next major computing platform, helping people make calls, translate languages, identify objects and navigate the world hands-free.
Privacy campaigners warn they could enable covert surveillance and lawsuits have raised concerns about consent and data collection, and some venues have banned them altogether.
Some critics have labelled them “spy glasses” and “pervert glasses”.
So are smart glasses a new surveillance threat? Or are we in danger of demonising a technology with the potential to benefit millions?

A new personalised vaccine given in combination with a drug has stopped skin cancer returning in patients during a trial, representing a potentially watershed moment in cancer treatment. Scientists used mRNA technology, which was used for some Covid-19 vaccines.
But that technology – and vaccines more generally – have become increasingly controversial in the United States since the Covid-19 pandemic. The Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, is a vaccine sceptic.
In August 2025 cancelled $500m (£376m) in funding for mRNA vaccine research. The move impacted 22 projects being led by major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer and Moderna, for vaccines against bird flu and other viruses, according to Kennedy’s department.
We speak to Tom Whipple, host of the BBC’s Inside Science programme, about the science of this new vaccine. And we ask how funding cuts for vaccine research could impact health outcomes not just for Americans, but for the world.

Hawaiian cultural disposition has always been lackadaisical, absorbed with aloha, mahalo and hoohnănēah (stay relaxed) demeanor, so no surprise the sloppy headed local officials were asleep at the warning level switches. Wildfires & Hurricanes require monitoring functional reliable systems. Other islands need to hoālahia (wakeup) or suffer the horrific consequences of history repeating itself sooner or later

Let the Bible do the talking
Why is the context of a passage in the Bible so important to understand?
As we all know, God speaks in parables or metaphors.
Matthew 13:34 All these things spoke Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spoke He not unto them, 35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
In the Bible, God may be using the exact same language to describe a people or place. Here we see two passages whence God uses the term "children of the kingdom" where one is pointing to the salvation of the children of the kingdom and the other is speaking to the destruction of the children of the kingdom. We must be able to discern the difference. Now listen carefully and see if you can discern the difference.
Matthew 8:11 And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Matthew 13:37 He answered and said unto them, “He that soweth the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seed are the children of the Kingdom, but the tares are the children of the wicked one.
The answer is clear. One passage speaks to the true elect or spiritually born of the Gospel. While the other speaks to those that claim to be of God either by birth (as the descendants of Abraham) those within the Churches or the Jewish synagogues. Or any other world religion that uses the name of Christ to take away their reproach.
One cannot be in both kingdoms anymore since God has already separated the wheat from the tares within the Christian Churches. What kingdom are you of? The invisible. the eternal kingdom of God. Or the visible, finite kingdom of God?
There are also four Isaraels. 1. the true Israel (heaven) above. (God's true kingdom) 2. Israel below, in the Middle East. (the physical nation of Israel like any other heathen nation) 3. Israel in every nation, person, tongue, and kindred that God has saved. (the spiritual elect of God's kingdom) all of those headed to Israel above (heaven). 4. The Christian Corporate Churches are a parable of the children of the kingdom. (the finite kingdom that will be dissolved when God's final judgment comes) like any other self-professed children of the kingdom.
God uses these differences to confuse those that are not of the kingdom above (heaven) in spirit. But the true elect of God "the children of the kingdom" do come to see this understanding in humble adoration and fear of God. But the other "children of the kingdom" stick to their foolish pride and imminent destruction.
God will never, ever use Israel below in the Middle East to accomplish any of his will. God divorced the nation of Israel about 2,400 years ago. And finalized the divorce when the curtain of the holy of holies rent (ripped) from the top to the bottom in 33 AD. And Jehovah God is in no way obligated to Israel below (in the Middle East). But there are some of the spiritually elect within the nation of Isreal in the Middle East.
But the Bible says salvation is of the Jews. Jesus Christ was born a Jew about 2.000 years ago at his first coming. And Christ has returned in the spirit of the Bible in its entirety. God lets us know that salvation is not in any way associated with the sum of all Jews but by one Jew. Scripture says:
Acts 4:10 be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified and whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is ‘the stone which was set at nought by you builders and which has become the head of the corner.’ 12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”
Did you notice that God addresses all of the four different "children of the kingdom" in this passage? And he gave them all one name of whom salvation was available. The Spiritual eternal God of all of the spiritual Israel. Jesus Christ of Nazareth (born in Bethlehem, Judah)
So when trying to discern what context is being used by God…

This is a good way to get people to evacuate their homes, a way the government uses environmental disasters to rid of people so they can use that land to build whatever they want. Watch that same burned down town become a base for the government to use. The fact Oprah Winfrey a person known to be part of masonry immediate comes to aid and the fact they decided to not burn her house down is very sus and whoever caused the fire is to be accountable but we all the know the gov is soo sneaky and good at hiding evidence that they can NEVER be held accountable.

Why is anyone surprised by this? Native peoples lived in these coastal dry mesic grass and brush lands and routinely used fire to manage the land for agriculture and to increase browse. The fires started and burned exactly where they have historically: dry mesic grass and shrub lands. The fact that it moved so quickly in and through populated areas should be of no suprise. Just like the Paridise and Camp fires in California, the inhabitants IGNORED the well known rules for building in lands that routinely burn, and local units of governments FAILED to enforce strict codes. Continuing to fail at proper building codes, proper fire management (prescribed burning on a rotation to keep fuels from building) brings about this kind of horror. When prescribed burning is an "inconvenience to residents and tourists", well, there you have it.
