Whole forest of dead looking trees, and no thought to jam branches under the tyres for traction

Nothing against you guys but the restaurant seems a bit snobby. I get if you have a small place and don’t want it overrun by people but I hate when people moan about wanting their privaaacyy then stir the pot themselves. Like if you’re so secret and exclusive why would you want to blast your existence out to millions of people? If not only to rub it in their faces that they can’t go there.
I‘ve only known this behaviour from influencers but apparently businesses do it too. That being said, the food looked delicious.

Crozet is spelt pasta. That, with the Viognier wine and reblochon… it's in the French Alps. But that doesn't narrow it down.

i love they are going up a mountain in a car without bloody chains xD

Tartiflette but with Crozets = Croziflette. that's how we name it here in Rhône-Alpes. Basically a Gratin de pattes au lards et Reblochon.

The alps!! Pah!! Softies!! Try The Yukon!! You won't find it without knowing a fur trapper! Try roast leg of lynx!! Superb. Moose, caribou yes, but lynx is special!!

I hope Barry is never in a traffic accident because the way he is positioned while driving will really get him messed up by the airbag. I'm talking broken arms and a smashed up face.

Four season tires or snow chains? I thought, but I could be mistaken, that it snowed fairly often in the winter in the UK.

They're called tire chains fellas 😉

As a Swiss guy, its a bit offensive that you drive a Swiss car and didnt do any content in Switzerland but rather go to our ugly uncle France 😉

    December 31, 2023 at 1:21 am

Im confused, what benefit would the restaurant get out of not letting them tell us who or where they are?

  21. @LibertyHallway

    December 31, 2023 at 1:21 am

Ben is right, roblochon is the answer

  22. @banjokazooie370

    December 31, 2023 at 1:21 am

Come on guys let’s work together to find this place. From what we know it’s in the alps somewhere.

Barry, Take your hat off when you are eating!!

Recommendation: If you ever go to les 3 vallees in France (Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens), Le Setor at the bottom of Val Thorens is very good, I would try the steak tartare but there are plenty of good options on the menu.

Boys, boys, how about using snow chains? 🤭
