Lives “will be lost” unless the UK does more to prepare for wildfires, experts warn, after a record-breaking summer saw 1,350 wildfires in England and Wales alone.
“Tinderbox” conditions created by a long, hot, dry summer brought the worst wildfire season on record in 2026.
Dozens of homes were destroyed or damaged, huge areas of land burned, and one man died.
The UK government banned disposable barbecues, sent a wildfire alert to people’s mobile phones and made £97m available, and a wildfire summit is planned – but are we still behind the curve?
In this episode of Behind the Investigation, Melanie Stewart-Smith speaks to Adrian Goldberg from File on 4 Investigates about what he found on the ground.

I think when russia dropped the white phosphorus on them, it came into contact with water and produced phosphene gas. whether it was intentional or not, who's to say, but that's where I'd put my money.

I saw the video, Ukrainians with a huge stockpile of chemical weapons, the videographer showed Scott Ritter expert investigator, saying he wouldn't show the footage of a Russian dying by a poison gas bomb, Ritter thought it was cyanide. This footage is available, and you talk of Ukrainians coughing, and "SUSPECTED" chemical attack. You are misinformation, aren't you?

The only video I've seen of chemical weapons being used is of a drone with canisters of sionide gas being flown by Ukrainian soldiers. I've also seen a video of Ukrainians manufacturing said weapons. Find it it's out there. That's A-war crime never mind the videos of Russian Soldiers being executed. Also a War crime.

Now there are reports of Ukraine using them. Ar the UK and US going to investigate Ukraine? I'll bet not. And I'll bet it was Ukraine to start with. Ukraine is not what you think it is. Shutting down churches, tv stations, anyone that opposes Zelenskyy

There are videos showing Ukrainians soldiers creating chemical weapons and dropping them from drones. Its easy to find. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Russia is using them as well.
@whhmjr
December 31, 2023 at 6:53 am
Videos showing Ukraine stockpiling drones and chemical weapons. Another video shows actual use of chemical weapons on Russians; so don’t be surprised if Russia retaliates in kind. Ukraine also shooting Russian POWs. Where’s the UN and where’s the OPCW? Why hasn’t the UN protested the American sabotage against the German-Russian Nordstream 2 gas pipeline? The USA/NATO is provoking an escalation. The current balloons flying over USA and Canada are only a distraction from these NATO war crimes.
