I bought a pack of 4 burger buddies from amazon for $9.95. Identical to what you showed on screen.

I carry around a burger buddy at all times just in case I encounter a burger situation and then when I'm done, I put it back in my bag, along with all the sauce and fat it has collected, I'm legitimately retarded and I love the burger buddy and will justifiedly kill myself quite soon.

I'll stick to my Aeropress. Cheaper, easier, makes a single cup of coffee… Ticks all the boxes.

The Final Press is my favourite, sham about the price. if it was a bit cheaper I would buy it.

£60 for the metal coffe press thing. That's crazy to me. Why would that cost more than £5 or £10 at the max I'm baffled by the price of that. 😅

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

We're still using our burger buddy (x2) about once a week since ordering it after watching this video. Top pick!

  7. @57thorns

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

The Burger buddy works well enough for half a burger, but what about the rest of it, the messy part and all the gunk insider the rubber?

FFS in my opinion, and I think I have seen reviews that actually tested it that said this.

  8. @YouTubecansuckit

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

The reviews for the spoon are bad.

  9. @Goosefang

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

That was most certainly NOT a smashburger. You can't give a patty a little smush and then call it a smashburger.

  10. @Josh_Wolf

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

I'm relieved that the spoon didn't work. I wouldn't have been able to handle people asking if there is a USB port to charge their spoons.

  11. @ethancampbell215

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

I genuinely hope that Barry never changes because the disappointment in his voice and on his face when Mike presented him with a ‘scientific spoon’ 😂😂 I love the fact that he was so dismissive of the product from the off, still tested the product despite knowing he was gonna hate it and then coming round at the end and suddenly became positive for the product

  12. @lpenn

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

The burger buddy that saved your fingers from getting messy until you get to the last half the. Have to start prating about getting your hands messy. Just eat the burger like the animals we are

  13. @amanda7263

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

“ It’s a COOKING show!!” 😂😂😂 -Mike, when Barry says, “I’ve gotta make it?”

  14. @09yulstube

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

I love the editing, the timing, the transitions. 6:31 that was ON POINT.

  15. @endwarAH80blackfoot

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

That SpoonTek is such a full face scam if I ever did see. XD

  16. @michaelmcdowell7096

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

Something engineered well does everything it needs while being simple. May need a buddy for a burger lol.

  17. @NelseaFIddi

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

How do you finish the burger with that silly gadget? I'm curious 🤔

  18. @Aleblanco1987

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

the best kind of crowdfunding, it's a simple thing that some people may need, easy to fabricate and it delivers what it promises at a reasonable price. What's not to love?

  19. @IcyDV

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

These guys are like the Top Gear of cooking. 🙂

  20. @briandstephmoore4910

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

Who needs enemies when you got friends like Barry 🤣 2 premo burgers proceeds to make himself a primo double boy haha

  21. @Scynn

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

that final press is such a ripoff at that price… that is is 3$ of metal material and at most 15$ of machining to get that shape/

  22. @BillOweninOttawa

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

Bigger is not better in burgers, but tell that to Gordon Ramsey.
If it is too big to fit – even in Gordon's mouth, then it's no good.
    Sorry Gordon.

  23. @daverapp

  24. @MusicalBoarder

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

The science must be there to have gotten this far. Is this his first time on the internet? You can sell dog shit in a bag if you convince people its some sort of miracle drug.

  25. @XcaptainXobliviousX

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

that spoon is absolutely placebo lol

  26. @HTMLguruLady2

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

Burger buddy is all well and good until you've eaten half the burger & your down to the silicone. Then you have to take it out anyway. And let's face it the second half for the burger is the messiest. Burger buddy…. FAIL!!

  27. @XurJames

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

i feel like the first one would get to a point where you had to grab the last bit of your burger and get a messy hand therefore defeating the purpose of all of it? would love to know how the last bit was haha

  28. @gladtobeangry

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

With the Burger Buddy, the flaw I immediately noticed is when you get to the second half of the burger, so that would be what I'd test before making any judgement. It clearly doesn't work once you've gone past the exposed bit of the burger, as you stopped the review before the undignified bit where you'd have to either plunge your face into a bit of shaped washing machine tubing to get to your burger, or just discard the thing completely to take a bite of what's left. That's a nonsensical product.

  29. @SharienGaming

    December 31, 2023 at 8:46 pm

burger buddy: you could also just use a cloth napkin instead and wash that later… but at least it works – and i still am massively suspicious of their claim that something made of plastic/rubber is more environmentally friendly than using one or two paper napkins…or…you know… washing your hands after eating
PS: how was eating the half of the burger that didnt stick out btw? still easy, or messy after all?

final press: i guess it does the job, but nothing in the design justifies that price… its just a plunger with a metal sieve/membrane at the bottom… basically a tea-egg with a plunger attached – and going by what other commenters posted that is unsurprising since apparently it was a scam to run away with the kickstarter money

spoontek – pseudoscience nonsense… and your testing was nowhere even related to scientific… you primed the subject with the expected result, didnt use blinding (and i dont mean a blindfold – im talking about hiding which product is which) and you didnt have a control (which is fair, given the context of your show…you cant get a sufficient sample size to have a control group to compare with) – but in any case… im fully expecting that to just be a spoon with an LED in it – in the most charitable case its an e-stim for your tongue, which doesnt affect taste, because the tongue is a chemical detector and not an electric one… that spoon is not triggering any chemical processes, and if it were they would be hydrolysis…which could be pretty bad for your health, depending on what is being split there (not that it has the power to actually do that) … you dont want to produce chlorine in there
    TLDR: scam.
