I think a Hong Kong style revolution is called for here as us brexiteers are being shafted… Since when does cabinet minister's have the write to overrule what the majority of people voted for..

    December 31, 2023 at 7:25 am

Boris needed to keep his majority in on everything to work as a team instead trying on your own and lose your power he did not know he was dealing with the beast that turned your own on you

I've noticed a pattern in politics where constituents are manipulated into strongly supporting something they really don't want by being offered something much worse. In this case, people are so afraid of a no-deal Brexit, that they'll be happy accepting Brexit with a deal.

Crumpets were thrown, Tea was spilled, and the Queen Mum was vaguely disturbed.

Corbyn – 'They did not vote to shut down democracy.'

Boris is doing everything he can to invoke Article 50 on the proposed date. Boris is attempting to adhere to a democratic referendum's results. In what world is this undemocratic?

I'm just a simple American, but just what the hell kind of "deal" does Corbyn think might be available from the EU? But it's not really about a non-no-deal Brexit for his ilk, is it? To the hypnotized, it sounds like he's salivating to ensure Britons have a "deal", but to those on whom snake charms are ineffective, his language, once decoded, is simply stated as, "I'm going to do my bloody best to ensure we remain as part of the EU". I more than welcome any comments to tell me which bits I've got wrong. Thank you! ps: If I were a Brit, and if I wanted to just get this damn Brexit thing over with (which I would, if I were a Brit), I think I would be feeling quite betrayed today.

  42. @holz_name

    December 31, 2023 at 7:25 am

The title is misleading. Boris doesn't have a plan. He literally doesn't have a plan. Doing nothing and preparing for the worst is not a plan. If you disagree, go on then, what is Boris's plan? No-deal Brexit is not a plan, it's the default if Boris won't do anything. Sitting at Nr. 10 and waiting for the EU to budge is not a plan, it's just sitting there and doing nothing.
