There are various degree's of cultural appropriation, most I would say are simply harmless and display a sense of appreciation….such as cooking and eating another culture's food. I've read articles about "cooking cultural appropriation" and wearing another culture's traditional dress eg. someone wore a Native American head dress and another person wore a Kimono and both were "shamed" on social media. Where cultural appropriation becomes dangerous is when a person takes on another culture's identity with the intent to deceive, eg. a person who claims to be from Afghanistan or Syria to make a false asylum claim, this is more like identity theft but that's just using a different terminology or taking it to the extreme.
What about "gender appropriation"…this seems to be the latest trend, also thanks to social media and various attention seeking disorders…I have to add that there are genuine cases, but the fashion for this can not be ignored!

Can GBN please add a caption to the context of their images, not everyone knows who you were talking about and why they were relevant to the interview. Was that Justin Bieber with dreadlocks and Adele in a Jamaican bikini top? I'm sure a lot of people wondered why these photo's were being showed as there was no explanation!
Dr Rakib always takes a rational, common sense approach, thankfully there are some people left that still do!

When in Britain or indeed any other country you all adopt that culture no matter what your nationality. Then there is no racism. Learn from and get along with each other. Religion, politics and pc language should take a back seat and stop trying to change society.
Everyone should speak the language of the country they are in, it’s the only way.
