Just in case anyone wanted to watch the horrific Sia parody video, you can catch that whole episode here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW1YOwD1ueo

Just as it is silly to say just « white wine » and « red wine », it is also silly to just say « beer »… in my opinion, there is more variety of taste in beer than wine (I know, controversial)

That electric stirrer is the perfect definition of something that’s genius in concept, dreadful in execution 😂 how something so simple can be so poorly engineered is beyond me because unless you have a pan without a middle it won’t even complete its basic function

I have one of those egg timers and it works great even if the eggs are cold, but then I usually go for a hard boil so it's harder to mess up lol

The Metall Cleaning think is such a hoax

  14. @kamanama3671

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I have a metal bar of soap and it works for me. I only need it few times a year. But it’s definitely on my windowsill. Comforting me knowing that if I ever cook anything super stinky my hands will smell wonderful after.

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I have that egg timer it’s brilliant, no need for it to be same temp as the eggs but I always put it and the eggs into cold water and heat from there, works great for me

You have to wonder who comes up with these junk gadgets.

  18. @isthatrubble

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

the metal soap thing should work, we rub our garlic fingers on our kitchen sink and it does get rid of the odor better than washing your hands. but we just rub vigorously with damp fingers, I don't think doing it in a tub of soapy water would work, but then I'm not sure how they tested it the first time.

  19. @lindathomas5500

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

Lol…. That hand wash thing 😂 just keep a bottom of lemon juice in the fridge couple of drops rubbed into hands rinse with water, smell gone lol.

  20. @patmaurer8541

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

Ack! I use my stainless steel soap every day, and it's amazing! Rub your hands all over with it, under cool running water. Most garlic, fish, onion smells will be gone in about 1 minute. I also throw the bar into any plastic that has picked up the smell of curry or other strong foods, cover with cold water and let sit overnight. Empty and wash as you normally would. Odor is gone.

  21. @TheRealBrook1968

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

Rub garlicky hands on carbon steel knife, not the pointy end, to remove stink.

  22. @CannyCajuns

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

You’re still using the stainless steel bar wrong. You need to use it with soap not as the soap along itself. Put some dish soap on the bar and rub it around your hands. However, still useless, because even just handwashing your stainless steel cutlery you’re achieving the same results. It does help to even do the utensils as long as you use the soap and rub the stainless steel along with the soap around your hands.

James reminds me of Eeyore. Never enthusiastic, usually pessimistic. Ben is Tigger, always ready for a surprise.

  24. @StrawberyFreakTARDIS

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

The automatic stirrer is so useless, it doesn't even work. Even for someone with dexterity issues that wouldn't help. The middle burns and as we saw with Ben just stop stirring completely 😅😅😅

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

There’s a better Automatic Pot Stirrer and it is named Lakeland Cordless Automatic Pot Stirrer

My ex was a chef, and he used the silver "soap" bar. It really did make all the difference !

  31. @Dariushellstrome

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

We had one of those automatic can openers, my sister was in a wheelchair and it worked well for about 2 years, then it stopped locking on to the can

  32. @DreamBelief

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

Lol that stupid metal "remove scents" scam is like those stupid weight loss products eg that dumb metallic suit you wear where you still have to exercise, almost as if it does nothing at all!

  33. @DreamBelief

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

As someone with a disability that affects my arms and hands I should warn others to never just assume an auto gadget will be easier (or make something possible), even ones advertised for us and sold in disability stores. I've tried many, and at least half were harder to use that the regular version (including a can opener), needing more strength and/or fine motor control, or just being poorly designed so it is tricky to make it work.

  34. @dragoncantor

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I have arthritis in my right thumb, so I can't use manual can openers anymore. I want that automatic can opener!

  35. @tipai3718

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I think it has to be in running water for it to work. It's like you hold a knife between you hands in running water. that'll work.

  36. @GonzoDonzo

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I just love when a gadget fails so hard you wonder if they even attempted to test it before manufacturing it

I had one of those egg timers when I was younger, over 40 years ago

Stainless steel does remove oders form your hands I always rub mine on the sink after fishing to dramatically reduce the smell

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

    how about peanut butter stirring?

  41. @Holhander

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I don't know how much more of a "fair" test you can give that stupid metal soap shaped bar.

    It's trash and doesn't work. It's not even useless, it's a scam.

  42. @creepyloner1979

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

the stirrer is obviously meant for wide, shallow pans, not narrow, deep pans where it's impossible for it to touch the middle.

    metal soap because of…. science.

  45. @kylealexander7024

    December 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

Those pan stirring things dont usually work well in a pot. A sautee pan works better. Ive made spaghetti sauce with one before but it kinda takes some of the fun out of cooking if u ask me. Probably good for low dexterity
