It seems pretty much a certainty that Andy Burnham will be the next British prime minister. Exactly when it happens depends on a few factors. We outline some of the reasons an early general election is likely.

Doesn't matter. It's well known fact that Labor only increases spending regardless can country afford it. Socialists don't know how to create, they only know how to consume.

Both Labour and Liberals are run by left-wing Liers and Traitors they put us in debt so far in last governments we are still paying for it, Now Dianne Abbott the Great Financier for Labours spending plans who cant make 6+3 = 9 according to her it equals whatever she wants it to equal in her case 0 like there brains and their spending plans, lose all benefits as the money makers flee Britain, vote labour and Liberal get Islamic Sharia Law and mass immigration and eventually a police force that only supports Sharia law like the London Met and then Civil war

I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that the number the Tories picked is exactly the same figure as how much their government has increased the national debt by since 2010. Just like that time Boris rambled on about "making model buses", resulting in search results for "Boris Johnson Bus" no longer displaying articles on his Brexit bus at the top of the page.

It is really unsettling and not at all conducive of a large degree of trust towards politics seeing, how politicians exploit peoples seemingly poor understanding of taxation system. Whenever I come across a news scaring people with high taxes, it just break down once you understand the brackets. And usually it’s the highest earners both scaring and trying to avoid paying higher tax. Is this really so hard to conceive of a notion, that well supplied public infrastructure can help the society at large so much?Sometimes I wonder if there is something I don’t understand as neither I nor anyone in my immediate surroundings even touches on the highest tax brackets, thus I might be unaware of a daily reality of such individuals and how their lives might be affected, but again find it hard to believe it would change that much for the worse.
@testblustacks5799
December 30, 2023 at 5:48 am
Nationalized industries are mostly less productive since employees get paid the same even if they do as little work as possible. If you're interested try going down to your local council offices and see how they waste money and get nothing done. Compare that to how hard people work in the private sector just to get a minimum wage.

December 30, 2023 at 5:48 am
You followed up your "The Tories lied" statements with a "Labour's probably going to lie as well" in an attempt to sound unbiased. But falsely linking the Tories' actual lies with Labour's possible future ones is itself biased. The only unbiased thing to do here is to say "The Tories lied" and leave it at that. There will always be people who will call you biased – there's no getting around that. Just report on the news and continue to give your (actually unbiased) analyses.

Buying back a gas company not at the full price a rival bid would pay for it, so the +30% estimate, is theft. If it is at a "price to be determined by government". Also if not for cash but forced exchange for gilts.
And the current shareholders will have had the human rights to private property trampled on.
Ditto the taking of 10% of all companies shares to gift to the workers.
Ditto the "assimilation" of private schools buildings land and their bursarys.
All theft of private property.

The cost of the Labour manifesto, if they win the next election, is estimated to cost an extra 200 billion pounds per annum and this does not include the 50 billion pounds cost of our payment to the EU each year. Where is this money to come from? In real terms it can only come from increased taxation, so the less well off will find themselves worse off, but the rich will as usual find ways and means of not paying the extra as they always do. The extra money can of course come from printing more money, in which case everyone will be worse off. Labour of course forget that the less well off will then strike for more pay leading to increased inflation which itself puts up costs causing runaway inflation, it always does. Most people don’t know, or have forgotten, the extremely high inflation rate of 12 percent of the late sixties and early seventies. Not forgetting the labour government of the first ten years of this century when Gordon Brown robbed pension funds and let the banks run riot, which caused the 2008 financial disaster.
