Nigel Farage has won the Clacton by-election, the vote he has long described as a “people vs Establishment” contest.
Shortly after 6am, Mr Farage was confirmed to have returned to the House of Commons.
He secured 22,239 votes while his closest rival, a satirical candidate named Count Binface, received 9,455.
The other main Westminster parties boycotted the by-election entirely, though Mr Farage could face them in a potential second vote at a later date.
Mr Farage resigned as an MP to trigger the contest at the start of July amid a probe by the parliamentary standards commissioner over a £5million gift he received before becoming an MP.

Take back control away from the banks… Just leave enough in to pay bills take all the rest out and pay only cash for everything else. Invest your savings don't let the bank invest it

how do we know that say a bank or say BlackRock has not taken money bribes etc to target critical firms..companies…engineering companies etc that are critical to the Navy ,Army, Airforce or any strategic national asset/assets/individuals targeting them for closure./blackmail/foreign competion and interest/profit/share price manipulation/political gain to easily gain an advantage for any bidder…say the Chinese communists etc…or any organisation say the EU or blackrock or wef..wef is a front for many corporations..a really wacky one too…with lots of ol buddies from Hitlers campf lots of familiar names in there…not my buddies or buddies of our democracy

You cannot deviate from a cash economy until there is law that states everyone has unimpeded access to a bank account. Until then, everything should be available everywhere in cash!!

How & why are banks keeping tabs on what there customers are saying online,
That alone is over stepping the mark but to actually judge and take action against people is unexceptable,
The people responsible require prison time for discrimination and the banks require a very large fine for assisting it.

A basic bank account guaranteed for every citizen should be made available, probably via the Post Office which has branches everywhere. Along with the guarantee to ensure that cash will always be available to make any purchases and also that businesses would be compelled to accept cash for payment.
Believe me, it didn't take a genius to work that one out.

There are plenty of mechanisms for redress: (1) the Equalities Act, and Article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998 which allow individuals recourse to the courts (2) The Banking Ombudsman. There is no requirement thus, for further government intervention. I thought most people prefer less government interference, rather than more?

Banking-should only be "about fiscal issues" not poking noses into others peoples business. That aside, if irregularities or other criminal issues then that should be duly dealt with ie fraud & or other departments be it in banking or left to Policing/s.

I reckon it’s far more dubious for national security taking Russian oligarch money for your party and also giving a lordship to an oligarchs son . Maybe a senior politician living beyond his means looking for loans all the time . People like that wouldn’t be taken on by the police service , yet they are able to become senior public servants and influence national policy . Remarkable level of selectivity .
