    Israel: "Take in your cousins."

Kuwait: "But they sided with Saddam Hussein."

Jordan: "They tried to overthrow the government."

Lebanon: "They grabbed some of our land for a mini-state."

Syria: "We're busy with a civil war right now."

    Saudi Arabia: "But they're poor."

    Egypt: "They're troublemakers."

    Iran: "They aren't our cousins."

Once again, I find myself questioning Israel's choice of targets when they bomb Gaza. They start hitting way too many public resources and private citizens' homes.

America, the world knows, Israel is your 51st state. Created by the L.O.N. in 1948 over and on Palestine (a simple fact which you can check). The story goes Israel was created because the L.O.N., felt sorry for the Jews after WW2.

    The truth?

Your 51st state was created to protect your Oil interests in the mid-east; as without Oil your country literally dies. Do a Google check to see for yourself how much your country (on the books) give to Israel per annum. Its a disturbing number.

My advice, spend your resources finding an alternative to fossil fuels, instead of propping up your 51st state. Your 51st state which for the last 9 months has been trying to destroy its Supreme Court, all so its leader can avoid the current criminal corruption charges Vs. him.

Though Bin Laden never said 9/11 was him. He did say, it stands to reason the U.S. support for its 51st state is what was the biggest fuel for that event. That event led your country to spend 100's of billion of dollars on a war they ultimately lost and of course listening to your leader today, nothing learned. Shame.

Your country needs better leaders, better foreign policies and better people running for office.

You were a country which took years to enter WW2. Now war has become your middle name, with nothing to show for it but some shocking losses. Korea was not a win, nor was Vietnam and Afghanistan. And how bout that last Iraq war, you and your 51st state told the world a massive and unholy untruth by saying Saddam has Nuclear weapons and invaded…your own journalist's told us the truth on that one.

I hope American's wake up before its too late.

Russian drone hits Romanian apartment block | BBC News

Published

on

A Russian drone hit an apartment block in Romania causing a fire and wounding two people, officials say.

The incident happened on Friday in the town of Galati – close to Romania’s eastern border with Ukraine and Moldova.

Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte said “Russia’s reckless behaviour is a danger to us all”, while European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Russia’s “war of aggression had crossed yet another line”.

Russian drones have strayed across Romania’s border a number of times during the four-year war with Ukraine, but it is the first time citizens from the Nato country have been hurt. Russia has yet to comment on the incident.

Iran restores some internet access – but is it enough? | Global News Podcast

Published

on

The government of Iran has restored some access to the internet this week, after a lengthy blackout imposed on and off, for most of this year. Many Iranians are celebrating the move, which has allowed some people to contact friends and family members abroad for the first time in weeks. It could also be a lifeline for Iranians who depend on digital platforms to earn a living.

There is speculation that the move could be intended to show US President Donald Trump that the regime is willing to make some compromises at home.

But digital monitoring groups say the level of internet access is still poorer than it was before Tehran imposed its blackouts, first as a response to mass protests in January, and again at the start of the war with the US and Israel. Access to some sites is still blocked and analysts say two-factor authentication is not available in Iran, impeding many people’s access to platforms like Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Reha Kansara, from the BBC’s Global Disinformation Unit, tells us what restrictions Iranians still face, how people are trying to get around them, and how this partial restoration of internet access could play into the ceasefire talks between Tehran and Washington.
