37 people have been killed after a huge explosion at an arms depot in Ukraine which was struck by a Russian drone. The ams storage facility was based near a residential areas on the outskirts of the capital, Kyiv. Hundreds of people have been evacuated from the area and a rescue operation is continuing, with fears that the death toll will rise.
Shells, mines and drones stored at the facility exploded in a massive blast that destroyed nearby homes nearby, including a care home for the elderly and disabled.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky strongly criticised the location of the depot near people’s homes, saying an investigation had been launched into “terrible negligence on the part of those who stored explosive right next to people”.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence said that its forces had targeted “an ammunition depot”.

Hawk Fire wildfire in Nevada expected to rage for another two days, say officials | BBC News
US fire crews have reported progress in their efforts to tackle a large wildfire menacing the city of Reno, Nevada – saying the blaze is about a quarter contained.
The Hawk Fire, which began on Saturday, had spread over 15,000 acres by Monday, firefighters said.
Evacuation orders remain in place for 23,000 people, though other residents have now been allowed to return to their homes. Tens of thousands of other residents have been told to be ready to leave at any moment.
Officials are concerned that gusts of wind could drive the flames towards more homes. Unfavourable weather conditions are forecast for the next two days, meaning the fire could continue to burn during that timeframe.

China has vowed to protect its interests after the US announced plans to widen economic sanctions against Iran and its trading partners, which include Beijing.

Yes they do. Don't fool yourselves people as they are fooling themselves. The people themselves think they are so open and tolerant and are against violence, but as soon as their world view gets threatened they will quickly resolve to thinking that violence is appropriate. In different words they are tolerant if you follow their world view to the last stroke of Soloviev's show's motto of that day.

Yaroslavl is a most beautiful and peaceful city, been there in 2006. But current Russia in unbearable. A work mate went there in 2017 as football player in an amateur team and was appalled with the level of mistrust and sheer hostility shown by the Law enforcement and Border Control Agencies. Nowadays the ruzzian people, already politically uneducated and so gullible, developed such a level of aggressiveness towards the West that the best you can do is to stay well away from them. They're ignorant, fanatical and dangerous, blindly believing in all the nonsense the State keeps feeding them. A ruzzian TV channel recently reported that in Britain Restaurants only had chipmunk meat to serve because they are saving in order to send armament to Ukraine! My wife is Ukrainian, heard the speaker and confirmed what she said! They admit no fault nor guilt, victimise themselves constantly and appear to believe that Ukraine had the intention and capability to invade them! Keep in mind that they will never, ever blame pootin for their dead in Ukraine. Oh no, they will blame the West, the US and EU and NATO. This way it's easier and safer for them and at least they can unwind their frustration safely.
The very young generations are being very heavily indoctrinated and will probably be the most fanatical and dangerous of all. There is no improvement in sight, quite the opposite.
