Worst speaker ever. Was band from Parliament for life after being found guilty of bullying. Can't think of another speaker not elevated to the Lords.

He is a good man John bercow. But he never filed the criteria for an unbiased and impartial speaker where your political veiws are gone.

This is shown now as he is a member of the Labour Party and goes on airways displaying so.

I see only very few people coming into question for an adequate succession of Rt Hon Mr. Bercow as a speaker after october 31, 2019. Maybe one of the recent deputy speakers will get into the ballot again. And, those who actually will become elected as a speaker, will require a strong voice and the necessary aura and attention and respect and authority around him or her instated to get into proper control of the house. There is no second such significant and remarkable personality aka "Bercow" to be represented in a way he did, and that is – honestly spoken – a bad fate for this house.

  22. @newdrug1880

The Tories hate Bercow because he treats his job with respect, integrity and even-handedness. That won’t do for a conservative speaker.

  27. @3seven5seven1nine9

The narrator mentions "the mess of Brexit"
The only mess is and was caused by the traitorous politicians not honouring the democratic will of the people and taking us immediately and without a deal from that den of vipers that is the E.U.
