Everyone has that one person in their life who is an impossible person to find a gift for but Jamie is definitely not that 😂😂 all you need to gift him is something related to steak or whiskey and he’ll love it entirely 😂😂 he would appreciate a restaurant diy box if it had steak inside because he is the steak man

I save extra containers and use them to portion out and freeze homemade stock. I can also use them for giving food to family.

wrt recycling, the takeaway boxes are great for freezing portions, also soaking pulses, beans, etc. They last for ages. The more flimsy plastic pots like those you get mushrooms in can be used for mise en place, cat water bowls, herb water bowls. You can reuse salad boxes for salad, prawn boxes for toiletries when travelling, etc. They don't last forever but they're definitely not single use.

I don’t really eat many restaurant meals, whether eating in or having a takeaway, because it is just too expensive to do, and if I do eat out it is generally in a small place near where I live so I’ve never eaten in a London restaurant. But watching these meal box videos I find really interesting because I get to see the wide variety of cuisines on offer and all of the different meals they offer. I love it because I would never decide to visit some of these places because if I’m paying the money to eat at a restaurant I want to make sure I like the dish, so I always stay safe and eat things I know I like and don’t have the opportunity to experiment otherwise it will be a waste of my time and money ordering food which I won’t enjoy, and even though I’m not a fussy eater I’m not sure if I will like authentic food from some of these restaurants because it will definitely be different to what I am able to make at home, so it’s interesting to see things I wouldn’t ever choose to order from restaurants I am likely to never visit

blend between mexico and California? if you put more mexico into what it already is in California, you are going to end up with mexico.

It's much easier to cook the naans on a sheet tray than in a pan. Get that tray as hot as you can on the hob, a splash of water, on with the naan and get it going underneath. Then under the grill (highest setting) until risen and blistered.
