Not sure if your still reading these comments 2 years later but guys, kush, Slater, and Ben need to do these challenges as a competition and the normal judge. Please

Yeah Mike’s dish was ostensibly delicious but nobody’s making 10 portions of that. It’s better to use 10 portions of duck elsewhere

Gotta be honest, only half the plate being dressed looks crap lol

There’s such a weird trend of using way too many superfluous adjectives when they’re writing menus, it really turns me off of a dish when I see it. Anyone else feel like that?

I could say it was Earthy, but in truth, it is completely out of this world!
Go ahead, take it, it's yours.

All of those menu discription are fine if your menu has 6 items on it or for a waiter to say, a perfect menu description should have as few words as possible whilst still giving detail and excitement

Succulent roasted duck, blush seasoned with fennel aniseed, served on a bed of tangy beetroot purée with al dente fondant potato and sweet rainbow carrots garnished with delicious artichoke crisps, candy beetroot and a pan sauce

I've noticed that Barry seems to barely be able to read, whereas Mike was in danger of turning into Janice during reading out his description. 😀

TIL that Jamie is left handed

How chefs wished servers explained there dishes verses what they actually say "it's really strange… I dunno the cook came up with it" 😂😂😂

this was a great challenge ep. my only criticism is it did feel like they just were throwing adjectives at the wall. i think if the guys had been stuck with less but more enticing descriptors, it might have had a bit more impact.

You all have very nice handwriting. We've all heard British schools are good but for an American man in his 30s to have nice handwriting is almost unheard of.

I'm actually crying at 9:56 at Jamie mouthing 'Heritage carrots' in the background

  23. @megyseth1733

Those pasta buns were not on the table as leftover… I'm not sure that was fair since it was the main part of the meal.
