Nat West closed my account years ago, largely because they did not agree with how I wanted them to work as my bank. I also then walked along the street and opened an account at Lloyds without any issues ….lots of questions, but nothing irregular…..Well done Lloyds

People should yank their money from the other banks, and put it into Lloyd Bank.

We used to be a Nat West customer when we lived in the UK. Had we still been there we would have moved our Account to Lloyds. And everyone else should move their accounts to Lloyd’s.

Most chequing accounts or even savings will NOT pay interest. Banks still don't want to pay outside of actual long-term savings accounts that cannot be touched.

Sounds like Nigel's friend was integral to this otherwise Lloyd's could've done this MONTHS AGO. I'm sure Nigel had already contacted them before!!!!!

As Nigel Farage has been refused a bank account by 10 banks, this must surely have included Barclays Bank, commonly known as "Bloody Barclays". So let me give you a glimpse of my experience with Barclays:
Earlier this year, Barclays notified account holders with a non-UK address, that as of 25 October their account would be closed, even though as in my case, said account was opened some 25 years ago. The questions Barclays refuse to answer are:
    A. Why was the decision taken to close the account?
    B. When was the decision taken?
    C. How many account holders were affected?
    C. Were all non-UK account holders similarly affected?
Barclays level of incompetence and malfeasance required a visit to UK in order to close the account and transfer funds to another account.
This is an example of Barclays malfeasance:
Getting Debit Cards renewed has proved particularly difficult, mostly because of a negative attitude on the part of Thame branch (since closed) manager Mrs. Olive Wood. The card expired in July 2010 but in spite of several reminder letters, was not renewed until some six months later.
Later, when the card expired in December 2019, it took 13 months to be renewed (and even then it didn’t function), largely because of fallacious proof of life/identity issues raised by Mrs. Wood. Her solution was either come to UK (during Covid-19 lockdown) or “send your passport”. I’m sure you can see the flaw in that, it doesn’t adequately address proof of life/identity issues, plus there is the added complication of having to rely on a proven incompetent bank to promptly return the passport.

I kick myself for not closing the account much earlier. So urge Barclays account holders to close their accounts and transfer to another account while time is still on their side.

Don't be too grateful to Lloyds. How many months was NF publicly looking for a bank before LLoyds came to the party? Did he just not ask them 3 months ago?

“Britain’s MOST EXPENSIVE Airbnb” – Will Kensington MOCKS the STATE of the UK

Published

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
