South China Sea: Philippines removes Chinese barrier in contested area – BBC News
The Philippines says it has removed a floating barrier installed by China to block Philippine fishing boats entering a contested area in the South China Sea.
The Philippines coast guard said it had been instructed to do so by President Ferdinand Marcos Junior.
Manila says China violated its fishing rights with the 300m (1,000ft) barrier in the Scarborough Shoal.
China claims more than 90% of the South China Sea and seized the shoal in 2012.

Donald Trump scraps threat of 20% fee on Strait of Hormuz cargo | BBC News
President Donald Trump has reversed his threat of a 20% fee on all Strait of Hormuz cargo shipping, as the US battles to break Iran’s hold on the waterway.
He said the toll would be replaced by trade and investment deals with Gulf states, just hours before the US resumes a blockade of Iranian ports.
It follows renewed strikes between the US and Iran, which triggered a sharp rise in oil prices as tanker traffic through the Strait has virtually stalled.

Every Filipino within the country and those abroad like myself know and fully understand that CHINA is our common enemy. China is a liar that cannot be trusted. Xi Jinping and the CCP are thieves of the worst order. They will not succeed in stealing territories that belong to the Philippines EEZ. The 2016 Arbitral Ruling already declared China's claim as illegal and violates the UNCLOS convention. Everything that China does is criminal and illegal like its own head of all criminals, the most hated man by all Filipinos, Xi Jinping and his minions in the CCP. We Filipinos fully approve President Marcos' move to not only deter China's wolf warrior, grey zone tactics by realigning with our traditional Mutual Defence Treaty Ally, the United States.
Xi Jinping cannot underestimate the anger of the Filipinos because the world is watching their every move. Should war erupt, we are not afraid to face China. We also know that every Chinese within China and abroad cannot wait to overthrow the corrupt CCP regime of Xi Jinping. The only way for China to realize its evil and criminal actions in the West Philippine Sea is to confront them head on. They like to bully the small less powerful countries like the Philippines but they are afraid to wage a full blown war where the superpowers like the US, UK, Canada NATO, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India and the nations in Southeast Asia, Africa, South America and Europe will join forces because once that happens, the end of the CCP will be sealed.
China will ultimately be given back to its democratic people when the CCP is finally overthrown. That day will come. WE CANNOT WAIT. If war is the only solution for the Chinese thieves to be punished, so be it. Let's go!

If China is America, it could have found an excuse and invaded the Philippines like America did to Iraq and Afghanistan. Or as an excuse to liberate the "oppressed" Moro Muslims like the Americans are still trying with Xingjang.

China has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Islands, including Second Thomas Shoal, and its adjacent waters. This has been formed and established over a long-term historical process and is in compliance with international law, including the Charter of the United Nations. Based on the so-called award of the illegal and invalid South China Sea arbitration case, the Philippines claims that Second Thomas Shoal belongs to the Philippines' exclusive economic zone and continental shelf. It denies China's territorial sovereignty over Second Thomas Shoal and violates the principles of international law. It is legally untenable.
There have been multiple emergencies in the Ren'ai Reef waters recently, and the responsibility lies entirely with the Philippines. The root cause is that the Philippines violated its commitments, refused to tow away the illegal "beaching" warships, and attempted to carry out large-scale reinforcements on them to achieve permanent occupation. China firmly opposes the Philippines' attempt to occupy Ren'ai Reef, and has expressed its solemn position to the Philippines through multiple levels and channels, demanding that the Philippines not transport construction materials for large-scale repairs and reinforcements to illegal "beach-based" warships. And put forward initiatives to properly manage the situation on Ren'ai Reef. However, the Philippines ignores China's goodwill, sincerity and restraint, violates its own commitments, continues to infringe, provoke and cause trouble in the Ren'ai Reef waters, continues to spread false information and hype, seriously violates international law and the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, and seriously infringes upon China's Territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.

The Philippines have to get foreign thugs from the US and Australia to help. Isn't it shameful? You should get along well with your neighbours and stop these foreign thugs. Chinese have 2 simple sayings: 引狼入室 then 骑虎难下。Don't bring wolves into your house and then find yourself unable to get rid of them. South Vietnam did it, Iraq did it, American natives did it, Australian natives did it. Philippines did it once before (colonized) and may not be so Lucy this second time.

It was the US that helped china to recover from poverty and be a member of the UN, IMF, HR council, WTO, etc. In return, china through xi jinping and the communist party destroyed and exploited the UN, US, EU, African Union, and all other countries. The BRI of xi jinping is meant to boost xi jinping's ego. xi jinping is a hipocrite psychotic coward who has killed over 16 million from torture of human rights advocates, live organ harvesting, free labor from tibetan and uighur prisons, police brutality, forced/threatened espionage, covid virus, false propagand, IOT/telecoms/electronics back doors, fake and substandard electrical and other products that have burned houses, corruption of government officials, coups, sovereign guarantees and debt traps.
