Iran retaliates after US strike kills four at wedding | BBC News
Iran has launched missile and drone attacks at US targets across the Middle East, after American forces resumed strikes against Iran.
It comes after the Iranian Red Crescent said four people – including a child – were killed at a wedding celebration when shrapnel from a US missile hit a house in southern Iran.
Iranian media initially said five people had been killed.
The US military says it is aware of the reports but that it never targets civilians, and was striking Iranian targets in response to “recent attempted” Iranian attacks.

Fears of return to all out US-Iran war after sharp escalation in deadly strikes | BBC News
Iran and the United States have carried out on the biggest exchange of attacks since July, stoking fears of a return to all out war.
Iran said 18 people were killed and more than 100 injured in latest US bombardment. It accused the US of committing a war crime by striking a wedding in the city of Kuhestak, killing four people including two children. The Pentagon responded by saying it does not target civilians.
In retaliation, Iran launched a wave of strikes against American targets in the region, including in Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq and Bahrain.
President Trump is warning that the US is prepared to carry out further strikes in response to those attacks.
There are warnings of a serious impact on the global economy, with further disruption to oil and gas supplies, affecting inflation and global borrowing costs.
Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Caroline Hawley and Jeremy Bowen.

Nice to watch now. I think it should be a required exercise for Brits to watch all the BS on either side prior to the referendum and their own media comments. Who knows, perhaps they can learn a thing or two about themselves 😂.

Her arguing that the UK is a representative democracy is all well and good but even when handed clear instructions by the electorate the MP's and Lords absolutely failed to represent the wishes of the people and even now 7 years later we still have not left.

How interesting to look back and see what a con artist Nigel Farage is.
Today he states Brexit has failed and blames the Tories, but here's the evidence that 6 years ago Farage supported a hard Brexit (leaving the Single Market) – the key reason why Brexit failure is so abysmal.

What a lot of Brexiteers love to forget, but was brought up here, was that the referendum was advisory, not legally binding. This woman had every right to lobby her representatives to do something she would like. That is part of living in a representative democracy.

Yes…money talks but sometimes not the same language..one cannot instill their beliefs or wants on others…this is why we have a referendum or democratic vote…the outcome we of which cannot be bought!
