Is the cost of living killing Britainâs birth rate?
GB News presenter Miriam Cates is in Brighton to speak to the public about why the UKâs birth rate is plummeting.
Researchers said soaring house prices and shrinking living space were increasingly stopping Britons from having the number of children they actually want. The stark warning comes as Britainâs fertility rate has slumped to a record low of just 1.41 children per woman â far below the level needed to sustain the population.
Experts say the steep decline is altering the age structure of the country, which is threatening long-term economic growth and placing an unsustainable financial burden on public services. At the same time, more than eight in ten Britons say the cost and availability of family homes is making it harder for people to marry and start families, according to the research published by the Family Education Trust.
Nearly three-quarters said the type and size of housing available had a major impact on decisions about having children. And almost two-thirds said improving access to affordable family-sized housing would encourage more people to marry and have children.

I am not understanding this. Are Banks a business ? If so, are they not free to accept or deny potential customers ?
I have read that no reason has been given, so why are you all giving reasons ???
I know people who have had their accounts closed and they have been given the reason but hey, someone well known gets the same treatment and it makes headlines
My personal experience is that Banks are very careful about who they accept as customers and with the world going mad itâs not surprising.
Is it?

Does he qualify for 9xÂŁ100k compensation? He is really just forcing the hand of every financial institution so they expose themselves. Other victims will come forward and the whole doubling down approach that the protectors of the banking industry, the British government, has taken will tumble down. Uk government debt now exceeds income so their approach will fail. Neither do they act as a democratically elected government, which they can't while class distinction is legally entrenched in parliament.

One worries as to what will happen to John Cleese, Eric Idle, Ad Edmondsen, Billy Connoly, and numerous other writers and performers who have produced so much material that goes against the Political Correctness rules.
