David Cameron warns Israel over Gaza civilian casualties – BBC News
Lord Cameron has warned Israel it will never be secure unless there is “long term safety and stability” for the Palestinian people.
In his first full interview as Foreign Secretary, he told the BBC civilian casualties in Gaza were too high and settler attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank were “completely unacceptable”.
He was speaking exclusively to our diplomatic correspondent, James Landale, in occupied east Jerusalem.

Apple has renamed Lake Ontario as Lake America on its Maps app, after an order from US President Donald Trump.
It’s all part of Washington’s trade row with Canada.
The change was made for US-based users – those in Canada will continue to see Lake Ontario displayed. The BBC has contacted Apple for comment.

Iran has launched missile and drone attacks at US targets across the Middle East, after American forces resumed strikes against Iran.
It comes after the Iranian Red Crescent said four people – including a child – were killed at a wedding celebration when shrapnel from a US missile hit a house in southern Iran.
Iranian media initially said five people had been killed.
The US military says it is aware of the reports but that it never targets civilians, and was striking Iranian targets in response to “recent attempted” Iranian attacks.

My humble plea to David Cameron is to end this war now please and call for a permanent ceasefire immediately as the situation in Gaza has become far too worse than anyone could have expected it to be. The death toll has risen upto 15k plus,new born are dying and 1.2 million of Palestinians have been displaced and trapped with no safety measures put in place with no medical provisions aswell no access to humanitarian aid. More importantly no homes to go to. The Palestine state has been completely ruined/demolished. I sincerely hope you will accede to mine and everyone's request who are strongly advocating that this war must stop now .
