How about paying off the National debt, that’ll free up extra spending. Borrowing to fill the gap is a stupid plan, it just leads to inevitable hyper-raise of taxes instead of simply raising taxes

Think hunt has a crack problem. He just wants to tax the shit out of us and put us in poverty. The Quicker he's claiming dole on the most remote island somewhere the better.

Funny how there is NEVER a thought to reduce our crippling National Debt and the 2% interest we pay on it to Billionaires in perpetuity?

    Where's the money.?

Between the USA and the UK. over $20Trillion has been created in the form of Q.E. since 2008….

14 years of "free" money dished out to the banks, I suspect, in exchange for paper IOUs like Bonds.

    And what do banks do.?

They make money from money by leanding it out and investing….That is their business MO.

No much wonder then that property and rents have rocketted as well as Stocks and Shares…Those rentiers who got money at very low interest rates from the banks….The banks make money from the "free" money as well as the rentiers and such like.

In addition near £500BILLION dished out durinf COVID gone where, nobody knows.

So your question is relevant in more ways than one.

Like the game of monopoly, where the "banker" keeps dishing out the money, so that the game can continue….But as everyone knows it's the winners towards the end of the game that takes all and everyone else loses.

The problem is once this Q.E. started, there is no stopping it as Q.E. = growth of sorts and for growth to continue more and more Q.E. is required…It is like a drug.

Today the UK is awash with IOUs and up to it's neck in DEBT.

One only needs to look at countries like Argentina which is approaching another default (8th), where Argentian Bonds are worthless and it's currency is trashed with inflation running at 90% p.a. '''All because of very BAD GOVERNMENTS.

As we know corrupted Governments can destroy a country faster than wars can.

Our Government (and the BOE owned by the Government) must be made accountable for every pound that they spend, but as we know that has not been happening and so is of real concern….

    Where's the money.?

Nadhim Zahawi Tax avoidance is less severe than Sunak. Sunak got away SCOT-FREE if you recall Sunak boasted when he married India Heiress Sunak Dowry was £400M in Company Shares, its was a "Sum of Cash" into Sunak Personal Account. Sunak MBA made wife Non-Dom so Sunak Personal Dowry avoided paying Tax on 10+ years of Dividend according to Sunday Time Rich list Sunak £400M double to £799M Tax Free, it made Nadhim Zahawi Tax avoidance Peanuts!

Andy Burnham reacts to DEVASTATING Stourbridge fires as homes GUTTED: “Never seen anything like it”

Published

By

Andy Burnham has visited families in Stourbridge after seeing the scenes of houses devastated by fires.

The Prime Minister outlined his plans to support those affected by the destruction, as he issued a temporary ban on the sale of disposable barbecue.

The ban comes into force today.

Speaking about the fires in Stourbridge, he said: “I’ve never seen anything like it. I mean, I dealt with wildfires in Greater Manchester, but nothing on this scale. I’ve never seen scenes like this in Britain, where you just see a whole house gutted, smouldering.

“And I met one of the families whose house had gone up in that in that way, so you can imagine how distressing that is for for them, and you feel for them and their kids, and not to go elsewhere.

“You know, it’s just unbelievably devastating for people in this in this position. So that’s why I’m here. I just wanted to show that, you know, we’re on the ground.

“We understand how difficult this is for everybody, and we will put in place the support to help people get back to where they should be as soon as possible.”

We now live in GASLIT BRITAIN

Published

on

By

Mark Littlewood says “we now live in gaslit Britain” after it emerged the Home Office published a guide for illegal migrants on how “not to rape women”.

It is just one of the resources available in a collection titled: “Understanding behaviours and expectations in the UK: a guide for asylum seekers”.

Posters and information on rape, the age of consent and child abuse are among the guides to help asylum seekers “understand what is expected when living in the UK”.

The guidance highlights child rape is illegal “even if they look older” or if “it is allowed in another country”.

Speaking to Patrick Christys on GB News, political commentator Mark Littlewood said: “This pamphlet is extraordinary. And the reason I find it so extraordinary and disturbing is if you need that pamphlet, I don’t want you anywhere near my country.”

A Home Office spokesperson told GB News: “We expect everyone who comes to the UK to abide by our laws.

“If they do not, they will face consequences, including the refusal of their asylum claim and removal from the UK.

“Returns of failed asylum seekers have reached their highest level since 2010 under this Government.”
