Weirdly Liberal for a right wing party.

The reason why they are calling it a contract and not a manifesto is because Farage has said that the word “manifesto” has been tainted by lies.

The pages of the, "contract," are so basic and ugly like ergh looks like a child edited it honestly 😷😷

I will be supporting this party as the only thing I didn't like was the brexit aspect but after it becomes the reform party I will support it.

As a remainer, brexit aside the policies genuinely aren't that bad

  7. @DaBIONICLEFan

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

In principle, this all sounds smashing but the vagueness and lack of specificity/numbers makes it more like pledges purely to entice votes, and no intention to actually carry it out.

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Nigel is a honest person. Contract with the people – conman's traction with the people. I do wonder why he didn't use the whole words and instead squashed them together into a word that already has a meaning.

TLDW too long didn't watch. I'm guessing that they'll be implementing some fun relocation spaces for people who don't come from england, which isn't a camp and won't have any kind of cleansing ethnic or otherwise. Nigel farage will possibly still be leader as long as a defeat isn't on the cards by which point he will quit only to come back a few weeks later.
He promises to ensure that the UK will become a tax haven for the mega wealthy while ensuring money is siphoned from families and those undeserving of comfort gets allocated to hard working managers and people deemed worthy of titles because that's the right way to do things.
The flag needs to be purified of those horrid colours so we will pick something strong like just the white bit and possibly some simbol of our greatness as a contry perhaps a cross of some sort or the lions white and lions… That'll do it.

  17. @ciangargan

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Does it annoy anyone else that the brexit party used the colour blue for their party? At a glance I often think they're the conservatives whenever I see advertisements from them. They should have picked yellow, pink, grey, white, black or even purple since they're basically Ukip with a different name. These are the things that keep me up at night.

    Just like Donald Trump's contract?

No repercussions for not fulfilling any conditions

  21. @fmitchell238a

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Maybe somebody else mentioned this, but "Contract With The People" is a disquieting echo of Newt Gingrich's Contract On, er With America in 1994.

  22. @callyg7696

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Of all this is my favourite. But I feel a vote for them is a wasted 1 unfortunately.

  25. @realityalwaysbulliesopinio1961

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

The difference between a contract and a manifesto is that they actually want to deliver it. Manifestos are forgotten about the moment the votes are in.

  26. @blucksy7229

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Why deos everyone want an elected House of Lords it should stay un elected to avoid giving to much power to partys

  27. @garyholt4445

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

The difference between a Contract with the People and a manifesto is quite simple. A Contract with the people is a set of promises that are intended to be implemented if the party were to form government. A manifesto is nothing more than a letter to Santa Claus saying this is what we hope to accomplish but dont hold us to it if we dont accomplish it.. Simple.

  28. @BattlestarZenobia

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Given that the Greens, Liberal, Labour and Farage all want to abolish the House of Lords I expect them to work together to deal with it.

  29. @MaartenOtto

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Brexit party: We are leaving the EU but we want the EU to subsidies our farmers….

EU: Nah don’t think so, and here is a 29 percent tariff on Welsh lamb you try to export to us.

  30. @selfmademannorrie

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Will you be making a video about the SNP manifesto?

  31. @MEB20101

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

Il vote brexit party all day. Time for change i think. Conservatives cheered in house of commons when they rejected my pay rise ! And labour cant honour my vote to leave so brexit is my choice . (My opinion for any snowflakes or argumentative people out there feeling the itch to argue with me ) i served in the British army as well for my right and YOUR right of speech so please respect that!

    What about the conservatives?

  40. @kaanana

    December 22, 2023 at 7:52 pm

So they want to keep the EU subsidies and grants paid to UK farmers and businesses but at the same time leave the EU? Wtf

Hardly a single word on the most important issue of our time: climate change.

  43. @cravingtuna1561
