US promises more military aid for Ukraine at G7 summit- BBC News
The US President Joe Biden has promised more military aid to Ukraine at the G7 summit of western leaders in Japan.
Mr Biden announced military assistance worth up to $375m. He told Ukraine’s President Zelensky who attended the summit that the US was doing everything it could to strengthen Ukraine’s defences in its war with Russia.
The new military support includes ammunition, artillery and armoured vehicles. President Biden also confirmed that he would allow European allies to provide US-built F16 military jets to Ukraine.

At least 224 people are dead and a state of emergency has been declared after Colombia was hit by one of its largest earthquakes in years.
The death toll is likely to rise, with more feared trapped under collapsed buildings.
The magnitude 7.4 quake struck at 07:34 (12:34 GMT) at a depth of 103km (64 miles) in Chocó province, the country’s geological service said. It was felt across an enormous area, stretching for hundreds of miles across western Colombia.
Many of the deaths have been concentrated in Cali, Colombia’s third most populous city.

Sigh I'm all for supporting Ukraine, but we cannot afford this and if Veterans and retirees begin losing their incomes to Biden's frivolous spending, the U.S. is going to get rocked by the shockwave of financial collapse. There has to be something smarter to do than throw money that doesn't exsist at problems we don't want to solve with our brains.
