It's difficult to have sympathy for the people of Gaza when just a few weeks ago these same people were singing , dancing and celebrating in the streets when they heard the news that innocent Israeli men , women and babies had been machine gunned in their homes….you dont get to play the victim card for supporting a series of barbaric events that you cheered on!

He said right at the beginning that the building is about to collapse.
That means that they knew beforehand what's about to happened, that confirms that the IDF warns ahead.

So many comment saying that Israel warns people around the area to evacuate before striking. How cute is that !! its like that give them permission to destroy any building. Now in 2023 they used this logic to evacuate 1.2 millions from their homes and killed 8000 kids in 45 days. That's fine because they warn them , right !!??

  19. @littlered7820

    December 20, 2023 at 4:22 am

BBC fake news again !…this was a controlled demolition – the first noise is the standard warning to signal the area prepare for demolition, the following explosions are clearly ground level detonations, and impossible to be a strike due to surrounding building height restrictions.

I don't have to say anything, right? …Abiding by the "world model regulations"? Protect the “international order”? Is it okay to just say that?

Isn't that what you mean by saying that the US "stands with Israel"? …That's why Moka misunderstands that he is the only country that can change the "international order"?Isn't that what is disrupting the "international order" and causing chaos, murder, and destruction? So, the world would be more peaceful without America, right? Will it eliminate American hegemony from the Middle East and the world? …Is Israel leading to the isolation of America? In Japan, "Ritsuryo politics" has been going on for 1400 years, right?Did Japan abandon its “might is justice'' politics 1,400 years ago and become a “ritsuryo government''? …Since then, it has been the correct law-abiding politics of “crying and cutting down on horseplay'', hasn't it?America? …Isn't it too late? Why do you insist on "power is justice" instead of prioritizing compliance with the law? Isn't saying "I am what I am" the biggest mistake in life?

“Moungingo'' says that the greatest sin in a person's life is to affirm oneself and think highly of oneself. (Everyone's life is a big sin, but there are four characters.)

Meta to pay up to $18bn to settle claims its platforms harm children | BBC News

Published

on

Social media giant Meta has agreed to a $18bn (£13.3bn) settlement with US states and territories to resolve claims that Facebook and Instagram harmed children.

A California judge approved the settlement, which Meta must pay to 48 states, plus the District of Columbia and three US territories, marking the company’s largest payment over child safety litigation to date.

Meta will also implement a host of changes aimed at better protecting kids online, which the states had demanded, including default daily time limits and night-time blocks.

Meta has denied any wrongdoing as part of the settlement and said on Wednesday that the payment it agreed to “will be distributed in annual instalments over a 10-year period”.

PC Andrew Harper’s killers to stay in jail | BBC News Exclusive

Published

on

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has told the BBC that PC Andrew Harper’s killers will remain behind bars as he announces changes to the early release scheme aimed at easing prison overcrowding.

In an exclusive interview with BBC Breakfast, Burnham said anyone convicted of manslaughter will be excluded from changes brought in under the Sentencing Act, which would have made the killers eligible for early release.

Burnham said extra prison spaces would be created by deporting “hundreds” of foreign prisoners and releasing some inmates serving indefinite sentences.

At least 27 dead and hundreds evacuated after strike on Kyiv warehouse | BBC News

Published

on

Twenty-seven people have been killed and almost 400 evacuated after a Russian strike hit a warehouse near Kyiv, triggering a fire and a series of explosions.

Regional governor Tymur Tkachenko said a further 42 people, including four children, were injured after the Russian drone strike in the Bucha district.

An investigation has been launched into whether ammunition was being stored at the site, where search and rescue operations were ongoing early on Saturday.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said in a statement that its forces had targeted “an ammunition depot” in the Kyiv region village of Myla, which stores “components and launch boosters for FP-1/FP-2 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles”.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the strike, saying that more than 300 emergency respondents had been deployed to the strike area.
