The Spanish soup I would definitely choose if it was available in U.S. Also would like to try the birch sap wine. Not a kombucha fan.

Spirulina I came across almost 25 years ago when an undergraduate science student when I chose it for a piece of biotechnology coursework. It's funny to see how it's grown over the years…when my head goes Soylent Green even though I know it's made from algae.

My first experience with gazpacho was in the 70s. My fun aunt made it for Christmas dinner. Grandma was not so sure about it, but the rest of us loved it.

Spirulina does NOT contain vit.B12. It contains a B12 analogue that actually hinders the absorption of real vitamin B12. The only sources of vit.B12 are animal products or synthetic B12. I wish this myth would die already.

  23. @gendoll5006

    December 19, 2023 at 8:09 pm

The spiralina sounded so great… until he read it has agave syrup in it. It kills be these shady ass companies use ingredients like “agave, honey, coconut sugar, dates, etc. that sound healthy but it’s still just fructose which is the same thing as table sugar. So they’re trying to make this incredibly “healthy” drink with all these nutrients but have to add sugar that spikes your blood sugar? Really? Why don’t these companies that are doing so much to make “healthy” products just take that extra step to educate themself on sugar and sweeteners (how most “sugar free” products like maltodextrin, maltitol, sucralose among others, may have 0 calories but still affect your blood sugar) and instead just sweeten their products with things like monk fruit or Stevia so more people can consume them (diabetics, people with insulin resistance among so many other people with various diets and medical conditions) not to mention everyone should avoid sugar especially if they’re spending so much money on a product like this to try and be healthy lol. It just seems so counter intuitive and wow what a home run it would be if it was just sweetened with a 0 or low glycemic sweetener.

£4.00 for that tiddly, piddling, minisulce drop of Gazpacho!!!! WTF??? Somebody's have a laugh whilst making a killing over there. It' starts about 1.20€ a litre over here! maybe there is a good side to living in Spain after all. BTW, Salmorejo is tastier, doesn't have the cucumber repeat thing going on for those like me who suffer from that!, but does have bread, so swings and…

    Sorry if I've missed a vid you've
Done, but wouldn't it be good to show people how easy it is to make something at home like the Spanish Gazpacho? I'm sure that'd make a nice addition to the recipes?

  32. @RabidWolf1966

    Refreshing Lemon… And it's blue….?

  33. @ScuffedBrit

Love the soup drink idea, but at that price I'd rather walk about drinking from a can of soup.

  34. @TyroKitsune

    December 19, 2023 at 8:09 pm

I only know Gespacho due to Red Dwarf.

  35. @marical343

  40. @bigcheese781

    December 19, 2023 at 8:09 pm

Wow… That "Cambucha" thing was a hype in my high-school years some, kid you not, 25 yr ago…! No one knew what it truely was; so an urban myth (cudos to internet not existing) started and it was referred to as an "Indian sweet water amoeba"… We didn't make alcohol of it, but it was rather made as a novelty, pass it on thing, between friends. Why that silly thing stuck in my memory, I have no idea…

  41. @4055590

    Love the gazpacho!

  47. @AbsolutePernilla

    December 19, 2023 at 8:09 pm

Sav means sap. Also, you can harvest your own birch sap in spring. Birches drink a LOT of water in spring. And pick the birch buds and dry them to make birch tea. Early birch leaves make good schampo as well! Tear small leaves and stuff in a jar or bottle, add cold water, let sit for min 30 min then shake thoroughly before using as schampoo. You will notice it starts lathering when it's ready to use. Aaand, finally, you can use the roots of the birch to make your own natural kitchen utensils like a whisk.

How Many Cooks Can Spoil The Broth – BTS

Published

on

We’ve been nominated for a Webby Award (basically the Oscars of the Internet 🥹)… for this video!

So here’s a little BTS from How Many Cooks Can Spoil The Broth.

Yes… Mike and Baz really did drive around London in a Microlino.
Yes… they did look slightly ridiculous 😂

But this video is so much more than that. It’s a celebration of the London food scene, and the incredible chefs who make it what it is.

If you love what we do, your vote would mean everything! It takes 10 seconds – thank you! 💛
