A Labour government minister has refused to rule out rejoining the European Union.
It comes after Andy Burnham claimed Russia “clearly” meddled in the 2016 Brexit referendum in an indication he may push to rejoin the EU.
Asked if Labour would put reversing Brexit into their next manifesto, Defence Minister Luke Pollard said: “I don’t think you can have a conversation about how we are meaningfully going to grow our economy, how we’re going to reinforce our place in the world without having a conversation about our relationship with the European Union.”

Martin Daubney is left fuming after it was revealed a migrant dinghy has been intercepted in the Channel, less than a mile from landing on a Kent beach.
Multiple Border Security Command vessels and lifeboats responded to what is another apparent issue with the command-and-control systems that are meant to give French and UK authorities oversight of migrant activity in the Channel.
GB News understands that the authorities were only alerted after one of the illegal immigrants onboard the vessel used their mobile phone to call the Coastguard themselves.
The dinghy was eventually spotted in misty conditions less than a mile from the mouth of Dover Harbour, and intercepted by three Border Security Command vessels.
Speaking on GB News, the host said: “You might as well just open the borders now and invite everybody in and put the kettle on.”

😂😂😂 I said the same thing during covid. Look how fast they closed their borders! Shows how much all their pandering about cooperation, inclusion, working together, shared goals, and European "values" actually means. Does anyone remember that France seized ground shipments of personal protection equipment from China, which were passing through France on their way to other countries? You know, because THEY needed it!? They seized a shipment of either 2 or 4 million FFP2 masks on their way to Sweden!! Never heard anything about it after that! I bet Sweden never even tried to get the money back from France for their theft. That's the taxpayer's money! Also, that Eve countries refused to give up any medicines or vaccine to other countries? 🙄 Not that I apply them, I would want to do the same thing. It's just all their hypocrisy.

Anyone who has ever visited the EU complex in Brussels and spoken with those employed by the EU about their working terms and conditions, pensions, severance terms etc will see why these people want to keep the thing going at any cost! A bit like the BBC really!

Yesterday:
German exports were down 0.9%, continuing the decline. That pulled down the trade balance.
Spanish unemployment was up 0.9%. Spain has the highest unemployment in the EU. Spain has nearly 3 times the unemployment of the UK, and has a worse welfare safety net.
Lagarde said the ECB needs to start telling positive stories to boost the market. In ECB speak that means telling lies.

The EU doesn’t have an economic policy; it only has a monetary policy and that is only in the euro zone. It has no fiscal policy except as is dictated by the euro monetary policy. All EU economies are managed differently; some are more managed than others.
