Schools are shaping individuals for future. If schools wouldn't build the habits of getting up in the morning then they will fail to get up earlier when they grown up. I believe all professional and work places started work in the morning. I think we are ruining their lifestyle if school started late.
Schools are not for only for educational learning as well as for punctuality, discipline and tolerance.
My kids are going school in afternoon and they wasted their time in the morning and they can not play in the evening because they are taking classes in school.

Usually I'm at school from 8:00 to 15:30 . And I study 6 day a week. I've already struggling from chronic fatigue syndrome and probably have a depression but my parents don't allow me to stay in bed when I feel frustrated or broken. I usually do my homework for 3 hours a day. Russian education system sucks

    Go to bed earlier.
It doesn't matter how old you are, if you're not getting enough sleep, you are not going to be a pleasant person to be around or be an effective learner.
Learn how to function in the world. School, as much as it is about learning "stuff", is also about learning how to cope with the world – "What do I need to do to be successful in the world? The world as it is, is not in the habit of changing itself to suit you.

People make such videos but does anybody actually care about it? Like if something is gonna change? Its not about caring for someones health now, its about doing your job the best, not about leaening, but about grades. Its just pleasing basic standards of a job even if they are unethical or destroy mental health, if everyone else did it bwfore, then you can, this is the ideolofy now.

The news has become speculation, “IF this happens it COULD set that into motion. That MIGHT then cause this to happen and IF that happened COULD see the city underwater, (un named, un identified, no face or name, or qualifications to reference or fact check) scientists warn”
When are we going to see some of these people?

This is a fantastic idea. I've been a night owl, or had chronic insomnia, or a different circadian rhythm, since I was 7. Having to get up, still dark outside to get to school on time was absolute hell for me. Even in ALL of my working years as an adult, I've found jobs that let me opt for evening, night, and overnight shifts, cuz it was much easier to wake up, on my own, with or without an alarm, and get ready to go in the afternoon or night. I really feel more productive at night, and I do feel a sense of calm when the rest of the world sleeps, (world meaning likee in my time zone). I've always thought it was just me, being a spoiled child, having my parents wake me up all my life, cuz I still haven't gotten the hang of waking up in the early morning hours. I'm still coming to terms with that I'm not a bad or terrible person with ADHD and other things that hinder what is considered normal or standard life.

I don't think it's the school times that are at fault, but teenagers staying up late. So the parents should be the ones to make sure their kids are well rested, instead of being bums and pawning everything off on schools.

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News

Published

on

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.

In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

New explosions near Iranian port cities, says state media | BBC News

on

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.

It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.

The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.

Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.
