In his PMQs debut, Prime Minister Andy Burnham defended his economic strategy against a backdrop of 18-year high national borrowing costs.
Facing sharp questioning from Tory leader Kemi Badenoch regarding debt management and budget cuts, Burnham attributed current market instability to the structural vulnerabilities inherited from the previous administration.

If anyone regardless of age or circumstance finds tv 'company' then I have to questions their intelligence. From what is easy to deduce from the listings and what i see in other's houses when visiting, it all seems so cruddy and puerile; and endless conveyor belt of dumbwit property and quiz shows. I would have thought it's going to be a far more intelligent move to buy a parrot; at least that's interactive and you don't have to endure all that pathetic background synthesized muzak.

The last letter I saw stated that you DO still have to pay the Licence 'protection money' even if you are watching on a phone, tablet, computer, or through a TV box or Xbox. For ANY tv channel's programme which is being broadcast live. Or if you have any device which is capable of recording the live broadcast. And if you watch ANYTHING via the bbc's iPlayer. So you don't need a licence to watch Netflix or Disney, or something on Itv X if it's not currently live.
It's disgraceful. I object to being forced by law to pay for biased propaganda I don't even tune-in to, except to occasionally briefly check whether it is no longer biased propaganda.
