Can May Get Her Deal Through Parliament? – Brexit Explained
For a long time, the negotiations were looking impossible. However, this week Theresa May has been able to reach an agreement with the EU negotiators and get her cabinet to sign off on the deal. The drama isn’t over though as it now needs to pass through the House of Commons. Will she be able to get Parliament to agree to her deal? Does it have any chance of passing?

Britain is NOT leaving the EU because of money.
They are leaving because the EU has become an undemocratic organisation.
The EU leaders are APPOINTED and cannot be removed.
There is no openess about how these stooge EU leaders are nominated.
There is no control over the EU finances allowing corruption to flourish.
How many BMW's Britain buys is not the main issue.

I'd be interested in a video that went through the hypothetical question of if an alternative Brexit plan was laid out (let's say by labour for example) & voted on would THAT be able to get through parliament?

Make a choice. Are you speaking English or American? You appear to be English, so I'd expect the former. In English we protest AGAINST something, or we protest FOR something. This distinction is lacking in American. So, which did you mean in all the instances you used this grating expression?
When you say "pass the House" do you mean the House of Commons or the House of Lords. If the former, the common expression would be "pass the Commons". American and English are distinct;on't be fooled by their apparent similarity. There are dozens of American expressions that don't work well in English and vice versa.
You should aim for a delivery that doesn't cause your listeners to stop every so often and say to themselves "I wonder exactly what he meant by that."

If there is a No-Deal Brexit then you can compare this failure, Theresa May's as the 21st century version of former PM Anthony Eden's handling of the Suez Canal Crisis

The problem is many people know nothing about this deal.Many people have a business big or small and all of them is very different.Need give to read people the conditions of Brexit .And let's they decide afterwards is they happy with that version or not? Need vote yes or no not just only for Brexit but also for the version how this will happens.And at the moment i see only one version there is no choise and need to be happy with that what they give you.But is that version of Brexit will satisfied everyone? What happens with that money what country will be lost&?And when that money wil come back if country will stay alone? How much will cost expencies for British army? How big became taxes for workers foe business? What about tourism industry? Many people now will need visa to visit UK….So how hotell industry will work?
@MrCmon113
January 3, 2024 at 6:06 pm
The Brexiteers' best chance is to accept May's plan now and thereby buy themselves more time to negotiate trade deals with the EU.
